Thread: So Freakin' Happy

strmmyweathr - 8/22/2010 at 07:03 PM

I just started a new relationship with a wonderful lady. It's amazing how happy you get when everything is so fresh and new. Just had to shout it out. I feel like climbing mountains and yelling it out to the world. First date was awesome, second date got better somehow, third date we didn't want to end the night. This stuff should come in a bottle I would be drunk with it every day. Happy happy boy here chair dancing waiting for tonight to number four

If it did come in a bottle it would be called pheromones, dopamine, norepinephrine, and serotonin.

It is cool to know that someone, at least, is having some romance.

I don't know why, but when I first read this thread, I immediately thought about something that happened years ago when I was hiking in the mountains of North Georgia with some friends. We had hiked over to Amicolola Falls from the back side, and when we got there, there was a wedding taking place. There was quite a crowd in attendance, and we walked over and joined them to watch. Not long before they got to the vows, the woman I was with leaned over to me and whispered, "Isn't that cute? The groom is crying!" I replied, a little too loudly, apparently, "Hell, if I knew then what I know now, I would have cried at my wedding, too." I say I must have said it too loud, because the entire back half of the crowd turned around to see who said it. We headed on out on our hike again.
