Thread: Benefit Show for Chris Chew

DancingDave - 8/13/2012 at 07:09 PM

Earlier this summer, Chris Chew had a medical complication that hospitalized him for several weeks in serious condition. To aid with his medical bills, there will be a benefit show for him on Sunday, August 19 at The Hi-Tone Cafe (1913 Poplar Ave. Memphis, TN). Music will begin at 5pm and the night will include performances by the NMAS Duo, Alvin Youngblood Hart, Tyler Keith & The Apostles, and more.

All tickets will be sold at the door for a suggested donation of $10. There will also be a silent auction taking place throughout the evening. 100% of the money raised that night, including food and beverage sales, will be donated to Chew to aid in his recovery expenses. Get more details on the benefit show at http://holdmyticket.com/event/120195.

If you are unable to attend the show but still want to help, you can donate directly to Chew through his paypal account. https://www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_flow&SESSION=4qGpTSmxMsDQ ki9HCR2RSScPCrr8jDtBBQ6YEiBo9FLlIgyAbv7v_rQysSi&dispatch=5885d80a13c0db 1f8e263663d3faee8da6a0e86558d6153d8812cd76bf2fd83f

I am so sorry to hear about this. Talked to Chris once in the lobby after an NMAS show, just a really sweet, soft-spoken guy. Hope he's OK.
