Anyone interested in meeting up before the show? We may go for pizza depending on time. The better place (imo) is John's Pizzeria on Bleeker, just east of 7th Ave. but there's always a line. The other place is Otto Enoteco on 5th ave and 8th st, just on the other side of Wash. Sq. Park from the Skirball Ctr. I just read some not so good reviews about Otto's but I've eaten there twice and was satisfied.

Any other ideas?

If you get to the area early and don't want to see the opening act - Jr Mack is playing at Terra Blues on Bleeker St @7:00. This is just a few blocks away from the Skirball Ctr.

Love seeing that Jr. is going to be so close. He's definitely high on my list. Hmmmm.....

Has anyone got an opinion on Shannon McNally-opener for dTb show? She's opening in Peekskill, too.

It's going to be brrr-chilly in Gotham Thursday night. I'm counting on a hot show!

Deb, Jeanne, Dave and anyone else that's interested, let me know... Ed made reservations which would need to be changed.

Hi Alan! Thanks for the invite. Let me check with some of the other nutty folks that John and I are meeting up with and see if their schedule would include a pre-show dinner!

Really looking forward to it!!

Hey Alan, wish I could get there as early as you, Ed and your better halves but will probably be on the train when you are dining.
I will sent you a PM.

Great show. Great time.

It was nice to see Alan & Bert, Hastings & wife, Gail, Barb & Bob, and Bobby G. from Fla. who some of us previously met in August at Damrosch Park Lincoln Center DTB show.

I'll be looking for Alan's audio when it shows up on DTB base.

Those that are going to Peekskill, have a blast tonight!

Great show as always. Nice venue....seemed that DTB was rushing to get it all in by 11: Was there a curfew on the Skirball/NYU?

Afro Blue was an awesome display....

Wonderful show last night. The power of the music this Band creates is beautiful to behold.

No surprise, Susan's laryngitis didn't affect her playing skills in her jam with the band.

Great show, and what a perfect venue.
Just got home this afternoon as we stayed an extra night in NYC
to see the Rockette's Christmas show.
Great to see old friends again.
