I saw this today as well...
It made me feel very out of synch with todays music. I have known every headliner fairly well for the entire time Coachella has been active. This year not so much. Jay Z know him but hate him.
Muse? Maybe heard one song. Gorillaz? Thought they were a one hit wonder. Forget about the supporting cast of the festival I hardly know any of the names on it.

Guess I am just getting old with the 27 years I have been on this planet!

Other than Them Crooked Vultures there is really nothing here that interests me. As the previous poster said, maybe I'm old and out of touch. But this cannot touch another April Festival called Wanee.

I dont think you could pay me to go to that festival. Im sure for some folks thats a great lineup, but honestly, to me thats probably the biggest lineup of indie/electronic crap Ive ever seen. Wanee's lineup is gonna be hard to beat, but we still have to wait for Mt Jam and Rothbury. Mt Jam is suppost to be out any second now, whats the delay? Hanging out in Jamaica probably.

As far as best lineup announced so far Jazz Fest has to be the best followed by Wanee. Id like to do Coachalla sometime as I like alot of the groups that will be playing this year

I am planning on Wanee (100%), Jazz Fest (50%), Mountain Jam (100%), and Bonnaroo (75%) this year. I will also go back to Indio for a Phish Halloween festival with pleasure. As for headliners I'm betting Jay-Z, The Who, Further and maybe The Stones for Bonnaroo which would be enough for me. And I hear maybe Phish @ Rothbury and I'd probably have to make a trip for that... Should be a good year indeed!

Wanee 100%

You will not be sorry

How about the event that Keegan is trying to do for Dickey fans? I hear that is
trying to be organized. And although I could not make it last year, the Jam for Duane
is something I would love to attend. This Wanee fest sounds like a real fun time.
Going to get that one on the calendar.

I have never gotten into Phish, for whatever reasons. But Ive heard non-stop rumors of them coming to Rothbury this year, so I wanted to check some stuff out. Long story short, I researched/watched/listened to some stuff and I really want to get that Millenium Concert, but couldnt find an "officail release" or anything like that. I watched an interview with Trey and he claimed that the Millenium show was the pinnacle of thier careers. So naturally I want to see that one, Ill gladly trade audio shows for a dvd/audio recording.
