My Copy of this show was taken right off of KSAN the night of the performance... The tape runs all the way through the return to the studio and then some. After the final notes of WP the crowd goes nuts and continues to stomp their feet and clap, Finally Bill Graham emerges to say the Band thanks you... and... Ciao... Greensleeves starts to play and Tom Donahoe (KSAN D.J. Host of the show) starts to thank Tom Fly, Tom Scott and Johnny Sandlin as Johnny walks by the Broadcast Booth . The following is the transcript of the short interview between Tom and Johnny. I didn't know if this was on the traded version of the show... so here goes:

T.D./ John...Why don't you come over here for a minute.
You're an ex Bass player aren't ya?
J.S./ah...I used to play Bass and drums some ...yeah
T.D./ Didn't you play in...were you in Hourglass?
J.S./ Yeah, I played drums for the Hourglass
T.D./ Yeah right, so you've been around the Allmans for a long time
J.S./ Yeah, I've known Gregg and Duane for a good while, close friends
T.D./ Wouldn't you say that tonight was one of the best performances you've heard out of them?
J.S./ Uh.. I thought it was very good...ah....
Donahue interjects:
T.D./ A lot of intensity
J.S./Ahh, The power was there and they were all playing very well
T.D./ So you're gonna go in and start workin' on this tape that's been cut tonight...tomorrow night?
J.S./ We're gonna mix it down in quad
T.D./ uh huh
J.S./ Seems like live performances type things come out, um... better in quad than the other things... they're more real
T.D./ We thank you for helpin' us and talking to us
J.S./ Thank You

I've posted this before but still think it is cool...

That is cool, haven't read this before.

I still believe that this show should be one of the archive shows (or better yet, a full commercial release like the deluxe edition of Eat A Peach, etc...) knowing there is the master mix along with a master film of the entire concert. Just think, double cd, one dvd, all from the master tape/film, mixed perfectly. How could it not sell?

It has been a while since I looked, but i believe the full show is in Wolfgang's Vault.

Sorry, I can't check the vault from work.

There's a piece of software called "Total Recorder" that you can download for $18.00.
It will allow you to record streamed audio to your hard drive.

Then a few editing tools, and you can burn to audio CD.

There are a lot of great shows in Wolfgang's Vault that this can be done to, including the full ABB 9/26/73 and 12/31/73.

Yep, Kirk posted several years ago that they had the master audio/video in their possession.
