Been listening to this all weekend. Man is it ever good. What a great collection of outtakes, hard to believe he did not release these when they were recorded. I really do not listen to anything by him since the Darkness album. So this one is perfect for me, he said these should have been released between the Born To Run and Darkness album, and I agree, this would have been a gold record for sure. Really, all of the songs are good not any filler in the bunch. But one song, Wrong Side of The Street, vintage Bruce! Great song.

can't wait to pick it up. 70s Springsteen was amazing. He's had some moments in the studio since then (and still delivers live), but he never had the same sound again.

Will be picking up the 3cd/3dvd deluxe version on payday at the end of the month (although using the plastic is tempting!) Looking forward to seeing the DVD of the show of that time and hearing all this great stuff in pristine quality instead of from scratchy vinyl bootlegs.
