It would be cool if they did the "Fillmore" set start to finish. Hell, even get Elvin Bishop as a guest to sing "Drunken Hearted Boy" as the encore.

They did that at the 35th anniversary show I believe -- the FE album from start to finish -- having Elvin out there for DHBoy would be sooo cool

That was my first Beacon show. I just picked that night because that night had the best seats available and that was the sole reason.

I sure can pick 'em.

Kind of like going out on your first date with Jennifer Aniston.

I heard the rumors and turned down a last minute ticket that night. Was terrified I was getting old; but woke up the next day with 103 Fever. Better to be sick than old.

Turned down tickets this year - my deal with my wife is no Sat nights. Hope they play the set for everyone there, however.

I was at 3/13/2006 the 35th Anniversary. You could feel it in the air. What a night, I consider myself fortunate to have witnessed that one.
I just hope one day 3/13/2006 will be available as a Archive release in some way or added to www.munckmusic.com . Until then thanks to all of the Tapers for documenting this incredible music!

I remember that too. I was on-line getting all the updates and it was a fun, exciting experience. (It made me feel the true power of the internet!) They even set up a live stream so we could hear some of it. I'm sure the 40th will be just as special!

I was front row for that show thanks to some very good friends. It is still the highlight of my concert going experiences.

Didn't they do it in it's entirety at one of the 40th anniversary shows? I seem to remember it pretty well (but it could have been a flashback - spent a lot of time at the Fillmore East - always cattywhompus on some substance!).

They did the first two albums in their entirety at the 40th Anniversary show, 3/26/09. That is probably what you're thinking of, Pastdreams.

Can't wait to see what they cook up in March! Like somebody else said, I don't necessarily expect them to play the album again, since they did that for the 35th, but it should be a special night regardless.

Actually it won't be difficult for them to replay the AFE setlist since they play all of those songs regularly. In fact I'm sure it will be a pretty easy and enjoyable set for them if they decide to do it for the 40th!
