There is quite a wide variety of musical styles represented here. Each album has a complete song for listening:

Well I know I'm not a hipster when I only recognize maybe 10 of the 50 artists in the list.

I see the Black Keys are listed.

Wonder how Butch feels about that.

I'm going through them one at time alphabetically to educate myself. I've only heard of a couple of the groups before, but that's because I tend to focus on rock music. There are some interesting classical, electronica, and even hip hop albums on this list.

Some don't get much of a listen from me, others I enjoy and am glad to learn about. I didn't like the Black Keys song, for what it's worth ...

The Gil Scott Heron disc is cool, not as good as his stuff from the 70s, but still powerful.

I only knew 8 of the artists. I guess I'm not up on the music scene.

I knew 5 of the artists named.

West because of his idiotic behavior with Taylor Swift.

Hillary Hahn plays the Skaneateles Festival every year, it's a series of chamber music concerts right down the road from me.

I've never gone and I never will.

Dan Patrick plays Arcade Fire every Friday, they've also played Saturday Night Live.
