Had the pleasure of catching this band playing in London last night. Didnt know much about them. Really good music and the added bonus of Todd Smallie on the Bass

Just bought their album "Georgia Warhorse" on a whim the other day. I absolutely love it.

Added bonuses: Toots Hibberd provides vocals on a song, and Derek Trucks plays on the last song of the disk.

A week ago tonight, Todd was playing here in Podunkville. With Lefty. No cover.
Go figure.

It was a terrific show, best thing I've seen in ages. They were good enough when I first saw them 6 years ago at Bush Hall but they appear to have had a serious rocket up the arse since. Great stuff & it's going to take something really special to top that this year. That said there's some special gigs coming soon so who knows?

Shock of the night - Al in plain clothes! All your ABB shirts in the wash, mate?
