Not by Steve Winwood!

Thanks - first time I've heard that. Interesting to see how ABB rearranged it.

Several years ago I heard this for the first time. Pretty amazed at how the ABB re-envisioned it as a dual-guitar power instrumental. And then, of course, chose to make it the leadoff track on their debut. This one was/is so obscure (particularly since Winwood had left the group) that I often wondered how they were even exposed to it. I thought it would really be cool if, at least once, they would change things up and have Gregg or Warren deliver a vocal.

Thanks Ron.......I had never heard the original version! Interesting what ABB did with it.......but we all know that their interpretation of blues chestnuts was pure genius.

Bet it was something as simple as Duane introducing it to the rest of the band, because he had learned the riff by playing along with the record......

Written by S. Davis and E. Harding
"I'm through with you
And your pretty golden hair
Don't want to see you
'Round my door anymore
Ain't no use you making it up
I told you gal
And you've come unstuck
You be messin' me up

Don't want you no more
Don't want you no more
Don't want your lovin', honey
Don't want you no more.

You come around and you think
That I'm always there
Always was
But you never seemed to care
Ridin' around with them other guys
You don't seem to realize
That I'm all hung up on you

Don't want you no more
Don't want you no more
Don't want your lovin', honey
Don't want you no more

I stayed out at night
But I never seemed to sleep
Asked myself if you're worth
The money to keep
I'm thinking of the good
Times that we had
I never thought a gal
Could be so bad
I can't help thinkin' to myself

Don't want you no more
Don't want you no more
Don't want your lovin' honey
Don't want you no more

Don't want you no more
Don't want you no more
Don't want your lovin' honey
Don't want you no more"

The 'bro's certainly did a little 'doctoring'....added a couple of bridges and the tempo change for the organ solo and then the bridge out to INMCTB.
