"73 Clemson grad here! Those were some very special times indeed! Saw the Brothers at LittleJohn with Duane on 9-11-71 ( with wishbone ash and a local band opening either Lion or Bear was their band name)and even though I've never been able to confirm the date I know they played there again in the next couple of years, 'cause I (kinda)remember seeing them there with Wet Willie opening! The CDA at Clemson in those days really pushed the envelope to bring great music to campus on a regular basis. A lot my live music thirst was founded in those four years spent on the shores of Lake Hartwell, in god's Country!

Yes, they did play Blue sky that night! It was the first time I had heard the song and loved it! There's an audience copy of the show in circulation. It's pretty rough sound-wise, but it's nice to have a historical document of the first and only time you witnessed Duane live! Does anyone remember the date of another ABB show at Clemson, it would have been in the next 2 to 3 years! It's buggin the heck out of me that I can't find anything to support this memory!

Same intensity as his son; look at the expression. It is uncanny.
