Be very careful purchasing any tickets on the secondary market. I recently
Purchased two hard tickets off eBay for a furthur show. I have never had issues when I buy hard tickets. These tix were for some friends and I was shocked to hear that when they went to get into the show, they were told the tickets had been cancelled and the money had been refunded. This jackass sold me the tix and then cancelled them thru ticketbastard. Of course I can dispute the transaction thru paypal, but what a mess.

I called ticketbastard and they said that some shows allow cancellations and the tickets are in effect voided.

I would say ticketbastard is setting up buyers on the secondary market for fraud.

Just a warning, be very careful out there.

The era of scanners at shows sets up this sort of thing. People walking in with photocopies instead of tickets is another strange ticket avenue.

You would think that to give a refund they would request the tickets back. I agree it sets people up to be ripped off.

I think if you claim the tix were lost, you can get replacements, but I doubt TM is in business to just issue refunds on sold tix. I'm guessing the scammer just sold two identical sets after "losing" the first. LN does allow a 3 day refund period at some venues, but I doubt the tix would actually be printed and shipped w/in 3 days.

The guy that scanned the tix said they were no good and that they had been refunded, not reprinted, but not really the point. If hard tix can hit the streets that have been cancelled, that is some scary stuff. I have never had an issue with hard tickets ever.

Just a warning, be careful out there.

I though all tickets were non-refundable. I have lost tickets, but what they do then is cancel them and make you pick the replacements at will call. They will not email or mail replacements for jsut this reason.

But this was with Ebay. I feel sorry for you. Very angry. So many con artist out there. You said it can be sorted out with Paypal. Let us know how it turns out.
Best to you.
