Gov't Mule listed. There is no Warren Haynes Band listed. Second (and presumably Sunday closer) is Steve Winwood. As always Michael Franti is there. I was happy to see The Word in the lineup. I have always wanted to see them. More to come obviously. It would be nice to see Tedeschi Trucks.

Not bad so far. I agree with you Doug and also hope Tedeschi/Trucks Band is added. Perhaps just before Steve Winwood and then maybe Derek and Warren sitting in for a tune during his set. That'd be a nice Sunday closer.

I am still assuming they are not playing two nights. If they were there would be absolutely no reason not to announce it. It is pissing me off as they just raised ticket prices. Just let us freakin' know so if we are buying weekend passes we can buy them before they go up in price again!!!

I heard a rumor that the Almman Brothers Band will be headlining the third night. That may answer why no announcement as they are still trying to fill the Beacon shows with people from the area. If people find out the ABB are playing Mountain Jam they might say screw going to the Beacon at the crazy Beacon prices when they can see the Brothers and a bunch of other bands on the mountain for a lower price.

I like the current scenario I've heard on the mountaintop , either the ABB will be added as a 3rd headliner or Mule will play a 2nd night

And if an Allmans announcement is blocked by a no compete because of the Beacon, that would hold true for Phil Lesh as well as the Beacon Furthur shows are billed as Furthur featuring Phil Lesh and Bob Weir. It was Phil and Friends that seemed to be the more frequent rumor originally.

I hesitate to say it but if I have a choice of two nights of Mule or one of Mule and one of the ABB I prefer the two nights of Mule. Of course my top top choice would be two nights of Mule and one night of ABB as happened in 2009 IMO the best MJ of all.

I think an addition of the ABB might be good as it would probably lead to the addition of Tedeschi Trucks Band as well if Derek and Oteil are already there.

I'm in agreement with this. I'd rather see two nights of Mule. The ABB just don't do it for me like they once did and since I haven't seen the Mule since last years Mt. Jam, and probably won't catch another Mule show this year, I'd rather see Mule on two nights. Whatever the case may be, I think it's kind of sh*tty the way they're not clarifying any of this with the fans. I feel like a long suffering Van Halen fan with this uncertainty and lack of communication. Okay, that's a stretch, but you get my point.....

On the Mountain Jam forum people claim that Stef announced today on sirius that Mule would be doing 2 nights so hopefully that is true.

If Stef announced it then it's true. I just bought my tickets.

I think it would have been more likely if the ABB were playing but you never know. IMO they should be a no brainer every year for MJ but who knows, maybe they just don't pay bands enough for MJ appearances. They play Wanee every year as do many more big name acts that MJ don't get.

For people who have gone to Mountain Jam in the past, do they eventually open up ticketing to single day passes? All I see on the site are 3-day ones....thanks!

The single day tickets go on sale at a later date ............. as far as I know they have never "sold out" any previous dates for M.J. and always have had day of show tickets available.

Thanks, so most likely I'll be able to purchase single day tickets online at some point before the festival?

Now this festival is looking good. Two nights of Mule, Tedeschi Trucks and Winwood alone are worth the price. Last year I hated Sunday because I hated My Morning Jacket and it was my impression that it was the least crowded Sunday of all the Mt. Jams.

I am happy with the lineup but now have more confusion as the Mountain Jam site hints that TTB will be playing before Winwood on Sunday but the TTB tour page has them playing Mountain Jam on Saturday which is what I am hoping for since I won't be there on Sunday. The two nights of Mule are worth the price of admission for me and I am really looking forward to seeing The Word. I would though love to also see TTB and Gary Clark Jr play on Friday or Saturday when I am there. Sucks but my traveling buddy doesn't want to stay for Sunday. I am trying to talk him into Thursday so I can see POA who I have been dying to see.

I know I'm nitpicking, but I'm kind of disappointed at the very high quality of acts they're scheduling for Thursday night. Karl Denson, POA, Gary Clarke, Jr., etc....I just think these are great acts that should be sprinkled throughout the weekend and not on Thursday night when most of the concert attendees haven't arrived yet. For me Mt. Jam has always been a three day day event and Thursday was really for those who wished to get decent camping sites a bit early. Now it seems, at least this year anyway, that they've scheduled three great acts very early in the festival when they have no need to. Just me venting is all....
