Wow, thanks for the link. I loved that first album by Sea Level, incredible music.
Even more than Return to Forever or Weather Report, Sea Level was my first
introduction to jazz. Wonder if Jaimoe will play some Sea Level tunes with his new
band.

Saw this on the Old Gray Whistle video and it's an incredible video and piece of Capricorn musical history. Love the Gibson Ripper bass Lamar is playing. It was Sea Level music that really showed me what skill Jaimoe has as a drummer. What a great band. Wish they would do a reunion show or two, but with Lamar being gone, it would take someone like Oteil to fill his shoes.

I agree. 1st Sea Level album is Jaimoe's best work. Great quality video. I wonder if there is more?

Great playing by Jimmy Nalls! Anybody know how he's doing these days?

Hey Rusty,

I believe I read where Jimmy has Parkinson's, living in Tenn., but I am not 100% sure. But I do remember several benefits being played for him a few years ago to help with medical costs.

And I still owe you a burger!
