Long time Pacer fan.
I think if Indiana wins this game tonight, go up 2-1, they're chances are pretty good to win the series.

lol what do you mean "if"?

that said, nothing would surprise me this series. the announcers flat out said in the 3rd qtr of game 2 around the 8:00 mark, when the Heat win this series they will have an excellent shot at playing tim duncan in the finals. least i think thats what he said....i know he said "when the heat win this series" i'd had a few beers

man i don't know what happened that 1st qtr

43-43 halftime

Pacers starting to dominate, whats up with Lebron throwing more elbows at Grainger though?

69-55 end of 3rd GO PACERS

Pacers up by 20 and all the announcers can do is talk about Wade and James

94-75 FINAL

Nice...Pacers win.

Of course they are going to talk about Miami, it has nothing to do with the way the Pacers played
It's all about what Wade and James did not do.
Thats okay though.
Game 3 on Sunday is HUGE

I disagree I think this era is better than the 90s. It got boring having the Bulls win it all pretty much every year. The past couple finals have been good and who can forget the awesome 2004 NBA finals were the Pistons dismantled the Lakers. What I like right now is how a team is beating a couple of super stars. I bet this is pissing off the commissioner though

Sadly now Chris Bosh will be missed after he was never given the credit he deserved all season.
The pick and roll doesn't exist or defenders ignore who is setting the pick for LJ or DW because nobody else knocks down that jumper like Bosh did .

nope overall the players and teams are just boring now and seem less skilled than they did prior to 2000

I like the Bullls as a team, good players. I felt bad for them when Rose went down. I think I heard he will be out 8-12 mons. Ouch!

If the Pacers and the Bulls would have meet this playoff series, that would have been real physical.

Miami is a shallow team, not muh depth. I guess you dont need it when all 3 are healthy. No excuses though..play ball boys. Miami has probably two of the best players still active.

Hibbertt had a big night 19 points 18 boards and 5 blocked shots.

I think the Pacers have the upper hand , but the series is not over yet and you knows what could happend.

Miami may have LeBron
But the pacers have Brawn

and Psycho T

Go Pacers

Huge NBA fan here, probably my favorite sport to watch. As one post said the NBA hasn't been good in about 10 years i'd have to disagree. The Spurs Pistons years in the late 90's early 00's were just boring beyond all belief. I'd say since 2008 the NBA has been amazing to watch.
Maybe I am saying that because I am a die hard Celtics fan but even at that there are so many teams that are competitive now. Everyone gave Miami the title for the next 5 years once the "big 3" got announced. Now its a wonder if they will ever win at all let alone even be a "big 3" next year. Personally I can't stand them, always liked Wade but have lost a lot of respect for him in this series alone. Guy is playing very dirty. Lebron I have always thought as a media whore... hope he never wins a title.
With all that said I think Pacers beat the Heat pretty easily in this series, i'd say in 6. I think the Celtics beat the 76ers and unfortunately the Pacers go to the NBA finals. As much as it pains me to say it I want Boston to face Miami next round because I think we'd have a better shot of going to the finals against them. We do not match up well against the Pacers at all, Larry legend has put together a nice little squad for sure.
In the end it doesnt really matter who comes out of the east because I am fairly confident that the best team is in the West whether it be OKC or San Antonio... those two teams are better then all four teams left in the East... but either way it has been a great season strike and all, can't remember this many even teams in the NBA in a long time so GO CELTICS!

I agree with you. I was thinking last night if the Pacers do win this series I could see them winning the East. No offense to Boston but I think they're run is coming to end with those guys. I don't think the Pacers would win the NBA finals. The West is tough, but you never know.

I think if Chicago had Rose and if Bosh was still available it could be different for both of those teams. I though Chicago would still pull that series out with Philly. The played well without him during the season . I thought the Heat would have been a little more competitve last night. But like I mentioned maybe having Bosh out hurts them more than we think.
Pacers are pretty deep and they have talent on the bench.Physical get in your face b ball. Not really a superstar on this group. Just a team effort

To me Noah is one of the biggest disappointments of the last 5 years. He still can't post anyone up, still inconsistent as all hell from night to night, still can't make free throws, still has no 12-15 foot jump shot and disappears when he has to go against a physical big man. Not sure he's ever going to develop into anything worth keeping in the team core, if he hasn't shown signs by now most likely never will.

Pacers beat the Thunder in Indy this year and lost to Spurs on the road. They also beat Boston in Boston. They are the Hotest team in the league and have an excellent chance of winning it all.

The Pistons of the early 2000s especially the championship team of 04 are my favorites. That team was to me what a basketball team is supposed to be with a deep bench and quality players playing as a team. Plus they destroyed the stacked Lakers which is always a plus. Now if I was a little older the Bad Boy teams of the late 80s and early 90s probably be my favorite

I guess you only need to people to win a basketball game. Lebron and Wade finally played with some urgency question is do they have enough of that energy to win the series.
