Lets Go Rangers!!!! Went to both OT games in MSG. Sunday was crazy-lots of Habs fans in the garden.

I now realize how easy it is to hate Montreal. How does Therrian, after calling Kreider a dirty player actually say that the hit by Proust was clean and unintentional? Then say that Stepan was not injured and was faking it? I won't even mention how obnoxious Suppan is. What Big mouths, dirty players, divers and after watching both games, i actually think refs are calling games in their favor.

How do you miss the call on Proust? How many penalties can you call on the rangers in one game? In addition, i believe they called the Rangers for offside once or twice incorrectly.

Hallelujah, another person has seen the light! Efffffff the Habs!

20 yearas ago tonight I sat in my seat behind the Ranger goal and watched the Rangers blow the lead in game 7 with 7 seconds left then win the game in the second overtime way at the other end of the ice. Still the single most thrilling sports moment I have ever experienced. It's time for some new ones. LET'S GO RANGERS!!!!!!

I think the Scabs will win tonight and the Rangers on Thursday , LA is going all the way they get better with each game , they look unstoppable , what depth they have on offence and defence .

Great watching the Rangers tie the game on the embellishment penalty , great call by the ref , it gets a little sickening watching the head snapping back when the stick didn't even make contact . Go Rangers

Looks like Montreal has gotten the Rangers off their game now. Same thing they did to Boston. Amazing, how Montreal manages to get away- the little sneaks. The NO CALL on Proust influenced this series in so many ways. It is still going down 3 games later. Now John More is getting suspended after getting a major and game misconduct for a similar hit.

Rangers need to focus tomorrow night and stop the petty nonsense. They need to stay out of the box and just play positional hockey. That being said, they seem very tight at this point.

The first overtime last night was good as hockey gets. There was about an eight minute stretch without a whistle. They were flying back and forth!

Awesome Win

Now we need to hope Kings-Hawks goes 7 long tough games. LOL What a defensive display in the 3rd period. Montreal could basically not get the puck into the Ranger zone for 20 minutes.

What a night for the Rangers. The third period was a perfect clinic of how you play with a one goal lead. Lunquvist didn't have to be superman but he made one super human save when the game was 0-0 in the second. This team seems to have some magic going on. I know they will be underdogs no matter who comes out of the west but I believe this is the year.

I am hoping for Chicago tonight and then a quadruple overtime game 7.

After last year I thought that the only thing worse than not getting to the final is getting there and losing. I was wrong. Oh well, at least now the Habs are out and can join up with the Bs on the back nine....may I suggest a foresome of Lucic, Weise, Marchand, and Subban.

Anyway, I will be pulling for the Rangers no matter who wins the west...LA and Chicago have both won recent Cups (and it is just hard for this New Englander to accept LA as a real hockey city anyway), and the Ranger fan base is as dedicated as they come and haven't had a lot to celebrate for the last, well, let's just say a long time. In fact, it must be some good karma that it just so happens to be the 20th anniversary of their last Cup win. Add in the fact that no one really predicted they'd make it this far and that they are likely to be the underdog, on top of the triumph-over-personal-tragedy stories in Dominic Moore and Martin St. Louis, and this Rangers run starts to become a nice little "feel good" story that could be remembered for a long, long time and not just in NY.

Mike Milbury last night said it was the best playoff series he's ever seen. Game 7 should be epic!

amazing hockey playoffs this year. almost every series has gone at least 6 games and very few blowouts in the games themselves. Comebacks from 3-0 and 3-1. Road wins all over the place. Just a fun ride. Kings/Hawks should be amazing finish tomorrow.
