The gang of ignoramuses and idiots that they invited to speak are a special kind of stupid. Then they wonder why they got their asses handed to them in the 2012 election.

Maybe he's resented for actually working with Obama during tragic times in NJ. He's one of a narrowing few in the GOP that would appeal to a changing national demographic. Hopefully for 2016 the GOP will cling to it's ideology and nominate someone who reflects those core values - someone like Rick Santorum who will run far right of center. If so, then game, set, and match is another guaranteed loss for the Republicans.

Palin, Gingrich, Romney & Santorum are all speakers. Nothing like a bunch of retreads clinging to a failed ideology desparately trying to stay relevant.

The GOP should quickly abandon all it's ideologies and learn to attract the low-information voter. They should have invited one speaker, Santa Claus, and be done with it.

The "low-information voter" buzz word is another tactic the GOP should abandon. subtely suggesting minorities are not informed / too stupid only insults many who could consider someone beyond the democratic party.
insulting people right out of the gate doesnt seem like a good strategy.

I didn't realize they had already let the foxes in the hen house, might as well just let Christie speak? I thought this conference was for conservatives? It's nice to see the military industrial complex and the corporations widely supported here (sarcasm). I guess I will listen to Rand Pauls speech, but that is about it.

Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu
U.S. Senator Kelly Ayotte (R-NH)
Former U.S. Representative Artur Davis
U.S. Senator Jeff Flake (R-Ariz)
Former Puerto Rico Governor Luis Fortuno
Former U.S. House Speaker Newt Gingrich
South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley
U.S. Senator Jim Inhofe (R-OK)
U.S. Representative Darrell Issa (R-Calif.)
Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal
U.S. Senator Mike Lee (R-Utah)
Saratoga Springs, UT, Mayor Mia Love
U.S. Senator Rand Paul (R-KY)
U.S. Representative Steve Scalise (R-La.)
Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker
Former U.S. Representative Allen West of Florida

Divide and conquer, works every time ... if nothing changes, nothing changes ...

sounds like another attempt to define a large part of the electorate negatively, like the Romney 47% rule and write all "those people" off again, many of which are wink, wink, minorities.

Lets wait & see how Mitt Romney uses this opportunity to be heard again post election and whether he can offer a blunt assessment of his azz-whooping.

LMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Figures!!!!! Christie gets snubed soley because he praised the President's efforts after Sandy. What a bunch of losers!!!!!! Bring back a repeat of the clown lineup!!!!!!!! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dumb, dumb Palin????? Condescending moon settling Gingrich??????? Crazy Rand Paul???????? Scott Walker??????????????? And the ultimate flip flop loser Flip Romney on the tails of a major @ss kicking in the election?????? LOL!!!!!!!!! Can you say DENIAL!!!!!!!! I guess the GOP has not learned their lesson!!!! Either that or they are just in stubborn denial but if this is the people they want representing their franchise then let them continue to sink their ship. I will just sit back and continue to be entertained in a comedic way at the absolute embarraccing display of stupidity by the GOP.

It is no wonder why the Republicans are trying to mess with the districting of the electorial college because if they are gonna stubbornly continue with their crazy agenda with a bunch of whacko people representing them and that agenda they are gonna continue to lose favor and may never win another national election unless of course they change the rules and cheat to win. If they can't win under the rules then just change them up in their favor right???

How about this GOP, if you wanna change the election up how about just dumping the electorial college and just go with the popular vote huh????????? How about that?????? Either that or leave friggin' good enough alone, shut the F_ck up and leave the electorial college just as it is and has been. You wanna win favor with the American people and have a chance to win more elections then you need to change your agenda, NOT the districting of the electorial college to change it to your favor.

You are in serious denial dude. No, I think the GOP should keep all of the ideologies and continue to push away all of us what you call low information voters who seem to be in the majority. Did you or the GOP learn a damn thing from the @ss kicking you and Flip Romney took just a few short months ago????? Right back to the same clown crowd and the same clown ideologies that lost you the last two elections???????? No, I think you are just fine with your tea party ideologies. Keep them up and double down on them and see what continues to happen to your party which right now is no more than a running joke. With that lineup of the same old bat $hit crazy speakers the GOP are doing nothing but giving the American people who just voted against them in the last two general elections a big middle finger and telling them they aren't gonna change regardless of what the majority of the country wants. Sounds like a winning formula to me. LOL!!!!!!

He is going way beyond just insulting minorites here. He is insulting me and all of the other non minorites who voted for Obama over the clown that they nominated for POTUS. Another condescending we are smarter than you Newt Gingrich type of post. Let them continue to think that way but if they keep getting their @sses kicked in elections they might have to consider that maybe they are the ones who are the low info voters???

"The GOP should quickly abandon all it's ideologies and learn to attract the low-information voter. They should have invited one speaker, Santa Claus, and be done with it."

Or they could just mock everybody who doesn't think like they do in a snarky, sarcastic way. That would probably work. Yeah, the more I think about it, that is definitely a winning strategy. They should definitely do that.

"I thought this conference was for conservatives? It's nice to see the military industrial complex and the corporations widely supported here"

While I realize there are many libertarian-leaning conservatives like yourself who see things differently, the vast majority of self-described conservatives think that corporations are great and the military is awesome and if they saw this post, they would ask WHY DO YOU HATE AMERICA?!??!?! What are you, some kind of peacenik commie?

It would work a helluva lot better than abandoning items like entitilement reform, cutting waste, tax reform, sensible energy policy, economic growth, spending discipline, free market job creation, ect, ect, ect.

What needs to be abandoned is defending and even doubling down on the status quo which, in this day and age, is called "progressive" -- while favoring a different, more responsible approach with an eye toward our future citizens is known as "obstruction."
