TM blessed me with a center section front row Loge yesterday at 3:45PM, so here's the payback.

My first show of the run. It was very good, but certainly not epic.

Thanks for the great video! Gregg looks and sounds so strong. It is almost time to get my Wanee groove on

Thanks Alan. Was that you yelling for Susan at the beginning of Sky?

Pretty entertaining Sky, as this one usually is boring to me.

Loved seeing the Col on Smokestack, but I don't get Nels Cline here.

That guy was yelling most of the night for something or other, but usually said it once and stopped, and only between songs. the only thing I liked about Nels was that he played a Fender Jazzmaster.

I don't usually get too excited about "The Sky is Crying" either, but this was very enjoyable. Thanks to the poster! I enjoy seeing Susan get involved with the guitar. Warren made the most out of his solo.

I'm a Nels fan, but that is not the song I would bring him on for. "Dreams" would have been my pick.

Was anyone else really disappointed with this show?

The band came out hot, but after Woman Across The River, the show lost all it's momemtum and remained disjointed for the rest of the evening. It seemed they were catering to guests too much for much of the show. Second set featured only two traditional ABB tunes (3 if you count Rocking Horse), none of which were "deeper" cuts. Jamming was at a premium too (especially with Derek - who spent much of the night in the shadows). Definitely felt like we got the short end of the stick with the show being sandwiched between Friday and Sunday.

I don't know - this was the fifth year I've seen them in NYC (I'm a young peach) and it felt like a significant drop off from year's past. Even the people I was with who don't have the same sky-high expecations I have felt similiarly.

I know, I know, enjoy it for what it is - it's not meant necessarily criticism, just was left really disappointed this year.

I would not say REALLY disappointed, but to me it was a good solid show and no more.

Has anyone seen a video of NOLTRW from 03/16/2013 that includes the lightshow with video of TheToler Brothers?

I posted the only vid I could find on the gb, but it does not really include the lightshow/video, other than a bit of Duane..

I was hoping for more..
