I hear good things about the London Souls.

Here's the link to the ticket info. Sounds like something nice to do this summer. I'm not a fan of the Crowes, but I will check them out. Hopefully the vocal mic will be set to where you can actually hear Chris sing. I saw them once at Hammerstein and had to leave between the crowd and not hearing a single word Chris was singing.

This is great news. No brainer for me to hit this show. I hope there will be some jammin since I've always felt Jackie Green and Derek could form an unstoppable rock n roll band.

Strange but true. I ran into Jackie in Central Park yesterday. Just a normal dude who happens to be the new Black Crowes strolling through the park with his lunch. I always try to take a walk through the park around and listen to some tunes. I had the love for levon show going and I just gave him a thumbs up on his new gig. Seemed surprised to be recognized. Of course I thought of all sorts of cool things I should of said a few minutes later...

Wish I could go to Terminal 5 tonight. That is very small venue for the Crowes. If you're in NY tonight and can score a ticket, it's sure to be a hot show.

Can we assume Crowes go on last? Seems that way from the way the flyer looks.

How did they sound with Jackie Greene?....any differences jump out at ya? Just curious, I've rarely disliked anyone the brothers have put in the guitar slot.

from the crowes site,
"TEDESCHI TRUCKS BAND’S debut album, Revelator–praised as a “4-star masterpiece” by Rolling Stone–won a Grammy for Best Blues Album in 2012 while Trucks himself was also honored with a lifetime Grammy for his longstanding membership in the Allman Brothers Band. With the band firing on all cylinders, they released their first live album in May of 2012–Everybody’s Talkin–a double CD set of originals and vibrant covers that showcases the band’s dynamic energy on stage. On the heels of the album’s release they toured the U.S. and Canada including a run of dates with B.B. King and a headlining spot at Newport Jazz Festival. The band’s new album is slated for release summer of 2013. "

also, for any weekend warriors, the Guilford NH show is a Saturday night and is a fantastic venue. I've only been once, for the ABB/WSP show in 09, but I loved that place. Very open with great sightlines, numerous craft beer vendors, and I believe a full bar in the middle of the concession area.

Yes, can't wait for this tour and hope we get some sit ins. Neither band has ever been shy about it!
