I think what you see is what you get.

Hey you guys are lucky on the East coast to always get shows, even within driving distance if they are not in your backyard. Not much here in Middle Earth.

Tons of tickets left. Would not be surprised if they close the mezz and chase those ticket holders downstairs. Happened to me at a couple of shows.

The one possible explanation would be a contractual conflict with Peachfest and concern by Livenation that one would cannibalize the other. Even if that makes no sense to us here, the decision is made by lawyers and bean counters, not music fans.

Maybe Chuck will do Wharfstock for the TTB-Black Crowes show... that will save everyone the cost of tickets and give us more time.

If you go to tickmaster, there are lots of tix left at all the shows, not a good sign IMO. It would seem that all the hullabaloo over the Stones tix maybe an issue for the Brothers over pricing too.

Jones Beach is huge arena proably 18,000 seats. The ABB never filled it although when they played with Santana it was packed. Not sure how popular Grace Potter is as a first act.

Grace is getting fairly popular. She sold out the Count Basie recently which holds 1,500

I am also hoping that the TTB/Crowes tour hits CT. I am surprised not to see a date scheduled for CT. I'm not whining, just noting my surprise.

I don't usually bother with these kinds of exchanges, but I will tonight. I didn't see anything akin to whining in the thread. The OP simply asked a question based on his/her observations. The ABB has played PNC on a regular basis during the last decade+ of summer tours....hence the inquiry when there was no indication of such for this year. I sympathize with the fact that many in other parts of the country have fewer opportunities to see the band, but no need to eschew reading comprehension in order to vent. As I said, most days I skim right past posts like this w/o giving them much consideration, but today I felt like getting on my high horse
