Well, so far......

Blues Fest June 7 in Grant Park
Pearl Jam - July 19 at Wrigley Field
Black Crowes, Tedeschi Trucks - August 14 Northerly Island
Black Sabbath, August 16 at First Midwest Bank Amphitheater

There are a few other interesting one - Ian Anderson doing Thick as a Brick 1&2, but it is at Ravinia, which is one of those 'can't get there from here' for me, and War with the Average White Band in Country Club Hills - seems like it would be fun......

That Paul Butterfield tribute show June 6th at the Vic looks great. The Robert Plant at Grant Park show during Taste looks good too. The Summerfest side stage schedule sucks, so hopefully Vernon Hills, Naperville or Arlington Ht.s fests will bring somebody worthwhile for an outdoor show. I want to see Steely Dan, but I hate Ravinia, so I may go to the Pabst Theater in Milwaukee to see them. With 20,000 seats now at Northerly, they'll probably be giving tickets away for TTB/Crowes. And Dickey is rescheduled for City Winery, which I'd like to see. "Let the Tunes Begin".

They are only using the 20,000 seat configuration at Northerly for 2 shows so far - Phish and Jimmy Buffett -all others will use the old configuration......the stage is temporary and is on wheels.......

For those from chicago and anyone comng to town for Blues Fest, consider the June 6th show at the Vic. I can't wait to see this. Lord knows who will show up. I've been told of two potentially pretty big name guests but have been sworn to secrecy.
