That's Bobby Caldwell from Johnny Winter And, played a few times with the Allmans back in the day.

Yep. Caldwell. Some really interesting stuff about him and the Bros in One Way Out.

I had been told years ago , that Bobby Caldwell was slated
to become the rumored "seventh" member of the band .
But he didn't get along personally with Butch at that time .
So , the boys waited until Quinones came along ....

Bobby's drumming on Johnny Winter And Live was simply amazing. He was also a founding member of Captain Beyond.
