Just got this yesterday. WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Have only played disc 1 so far and the first song from disc 2. Sound is outrageous. Got goose bumps and a little tears in my eyes. We waited 43 years for this. Can't wait to continue today.
I've come to the realization that we won't see 6-26. I still wonder if 6-25 exists. Does anyone know if that was recorded? I'm sure those two shows are some humdingers. I'm still yearning for some more Duane. Maybe we'll see more stuff after October??

One of my first conversations on this board was as to whether some old Fillmore recordings I had were valuable. I was never treated as well as when people thought it might be 6/26; but alas I had merely recorded the set from the 6/27 broadcast

It may be why I didn't get the most recent POG

Got my Fillmore box yesterday. The sound is phenomenal!!! The only gripe I have is the way the discs are packaged. There were a bunch of big scratches on Disc 4 of my set. I really miss the days when box sets came with separate jewel cases for the CD's. When I got the Duane box last year, one of those CD's was scratched as well. I recently bought the first 3 Led Zeppelin double-CD remasters and ALL 6 of those were scratched when I opened them up. This packaging with the discs sliding against paper or cardboard SUCKS. But, I have no doubts about the good folks at Hittin' The Note taking care of it. They were very quick responders when I needed the replacement disc for my Duane box

There should be a movie made about 6/26.

Title: 6/26
Plot Summary: One Fanbase's Quest to Find the Missing Holy Grail of Live Music's Ultimate Concert Experience. The Challenge: They Don't Know if it Actually Exists.

anyone want to enter the plot details??

I know 6-26 is the show to end all shows and I know it was not recorded at the Fillmore. But was it broadcast on the radio? If so they may be a copy on reel to reel somewhere that one of the radio stations rolled tape on so later it could dubbed to cassette. When I did radio I would record stuff that was sent in.

We know that 6-27 was recorded ( was either WNEW or WPLJ) and I could be wrong, but I don't think 6-26 was recorded, nor broadcasted by a radio station. Something tells me that if it does exist it would have been out of the bag all ready. My room mate at school was smart enough as to see the 6-26 late show. HIS DESCRIPTIONS WERE QUITE IMPRESSIVE. I still wonder about 6-25? They don't even have any set lists for it? I still wonder what Duane shows the band still have that have not been released?????
