What do you think is the best show from the Dickey and Warren era? I've been listening to a show from England in 1991, Dickey rips up Jessica! I also jsut realized that they started playing Worried Down with the Blues when Dickey was still in the band. How was that?

I think I first saw Worried down in 96. I love that era.

Especially when they were touring behind " Where it All Begins." My favorite show might of been 4/1/94 at the beacon. It was before WIAB came out and they were just ripping on all these new songs I had never heard before. I remember thinking SoulShine was the perfect tune for Gregg and Back Where it All Begins was the perfect song for Dickey.

Allen Woody. Allen Woody. Allen Woody.

'96 was the first time I saw them do WDWTB also, Pine Knob that July. Warren and Dickey could really kill BWIAB too....probably my favorite guitar tandem of all time.

Glad you're enjoying the Hammersmith show that I sent you, as co-incidence would have it I'm currently listening to 8-1-96 that CanPeach just sent to me which has WDWTB on it, that is also a good show.

In addition to the 8/1/96 show, I like the show from Paris in 1992 (July 1, I think).

Worried Down... was played in 95. Gregg sang it at the 4/22/95 show, one of my favorite shows. The quality of the recording is B+ at best. But the setlist and the performance are great.

I also really like 5/1/96, unbelievable jam on True Gravity. Marley turned me on to 7/1/92 and it's a great one. I've heard a few rumblings about the greatest blue sky being played sometime in august 96 or something, that has to rank up there too.

Certainly impossible to pick just one...there is like 50 of them ...I'll have to look for specific dates. I seem to like the 1996 stuff the best...also 1991-92.

1996 was a stellar year...IMO...they really were hittin' it. Most of the shows I have from that period absolutely kick A

I like a lot of the 1992 stuff I have as well.

Of course there is 93, and some seriously good 94 shows.

It would have to be 5/22/94 at the Warfield coming in at #1. And probably 7/6/96 at Walnut Creek in a very close 2nd.

Yeah I'm really enjoying. I love the Liz Reed and the Jessica. Thanks man!

It's hard to find a sweet show from that era by looking at setlists, 'cuz they're all similar. I just found an awesome FT>Blue Sky on Kazaa....rare....
