Anybody remember these guys?...you probably have to be over 40 to remember who this band was in their early days...

Howard is correct...That is Peter Gabriel with Genesis in the very early 1970's. Well before they went Pop on us...

I'd never seen that photo, but I still would have guessed Gabriel. Carlos sent me a VCD a while back, and he comes out at one point wearing a long red dress and a wolf mask, just like on the cover of Foxtrot. Gotta admire a guy with that much self-confidence

Early Genesis poster WAY before Phil Collins turned into a pop music weenie. Talk about a buzzkill.




Early Genesis is probably some of the most underrated music ever recorded when talking about the prog-rock movement of the early 1970's. The "Lamb...." is a pretty cool album - a concept album actually. I always loved the tune "Carpet Crawlers". A great bong session album for sure.
