I don't know how many football fans there are at this site, but I just wanted to say how happy I am today. It is football playoffs and my team the Minnesota Vikings finally decided to show up and play

As a viking fan I have had to learn to get over our embarrasing team. They always find away to lose or to blow a game they shouldn't.

Today was the superbowl for me, no matter what happens the rest of the playoffs i am satisfied.

We got to kick the crap out of Brett Farve and the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau and under 40 Degrees

Also to become 1 of the 3 away teams to win a wildcard weekend for the first time ever

GO VIKES!!!!!!!!!

Don't expect that Philly D to meltdown like the packers did.

Yelling and pointing can't be good.

Peace
John

Classy move by Randy Moss to, first, yell twice to the Packers' crowd to "Look at the motherf---ing scoreboard!" with the TV cameras on him. The score was 17-0 at the time, and I'm sure he heard plenty of "not nice" comments from the crowd near the bench. But, still...

Second class move was to "moon" the endzone after his last touchdown.

Gifted football player? Sure. But, I can't stand the guy!

Yeah- that's about all I've heard on the sports call-in shows this morning. It's not surprising,Moss is childish- just ask the meter maid he tried to run down! But, how many of these people were outraged a few weeks ago when Jake Plummer FLIPPED OFF HIS OWN FANS?? Green Bay has a history of baiting Moss. Last game at Lambeau, the Wis. marching band went out of their way to bait him, and he was injured, didn't even play. He may be a dick, but when healthy he is the BEST receiver in the NFL. Has been for quite some time. And Roctopus is right- many Vikings fans like myself, and Pack fans, consider their two meetings each year "our Superbowl". Vikes stepped up when they needed to, that's all. Hope Favre doesn't "pack" it in- we love playing against him!!!

It's unanimous, Go Eagles!
I sit 2 rows in back of the visitors bench at the Linc.
Mr Moss and I will have plenty of conversations Sunday afternoon.
I can speak his native tongue, "THUG", if I have a couple of drinks.

It was said on television yesterday, but it does bear repeating.
When referring to Randy Moss, Howie Long said:

"...Talent and class don't always walk hand in hand..."

GO EAGLES!!!

On the other hand, the Eagles have always had a very "saintly" reputation over the years!!!

Glad there are some VIKS fans keeping hope alive in memory of Bud Grant's legacy. However Culpepper and the rest of the team really needs to "bitchslap" MOSS once and for all.

Barring a miracle next weekend, EAGLES should just crush them. However, maybe MOSS will have a reason to leave at the half. Game should be over by then anyway.

STEELERS / EAGLES for the first weekend in Feb........BOO YEAH

I hope the eagles use moss to wipe their a**es
just like the way he used the goal post to emulate
whatever he did.
nice win by the vikes but moss is a punk.

yes, yet another "classy" move
i am a vikings fan, but not a fan of this childish behavior
thank you randy for tainting one of their biggest wins in a long time

why does he always have to take away all of the positive energy he injects into the team?
as much as he is a gifted athlete, i often wonder if the vikes will ever reach their full potential as a team with him around as a distraction

So far the Iggles are the biggest favorite going to the next round -9.5 over the vikings. Steelers are -9, Alanta -7 and Pats -2.5

As a long-time Packer fan, yesterday was tough to swallow. I knew we wouldn't get past the second round of the playoffs with our weak D and Mike Sherman's whimzical coaching and playcalling, but we had one of the worst games since the playoff loss to Atlanta two years ago. The toughest thing about it is how long we were still in the game. I'm hoping we draft some D-linemen, and get rid of Sherman. Favre's got the best receiving corps he's ever had and it's wasted since the rest of the team is so mediocre.

As for Moss, I'm no fan, but was I the only one that got sick of every self-righteous ass (Howie Long, Boomer Esiason, Steve Young, etc) publicly scolding Moss for being the child we have all known him to be? He left the field early - not one of his better moments, but I'm sure he's not the first to do it and was anyone really that suprised? And he proved he's smarter than we all thought when he said he doubts meathead Tice is fit to be their coach. Ok, so saying it publicly wasn't smart, but at least we know he's thinking it, too.

I still say NE is the team to beat, and for some reason, I just don't see the Eagles making it.

The Viqueens suck!!! As a life long Bears fan, there is no team I hate more than the Vikes. If I won a giant lottery, I would buy the team and fold it. They could not lose enough games to make me happy. To this day, I love the Herschel Walker trade. It ruined the team. Hopefully, they have another lousy trade in them. When they played outside at Metropolitan Stadium they had some toughness. Now that they play in the Metodump, they are gutless. And purple is a lousy color too.

They always find a way to lose. That's why their win yesterday, not to mention their appearance in the playoffs was such a suprise - I thought they'd meltdown for sure.
