Hey guys (Ozziepie and Peachheadcpl) would like to see this reoffered already. You have had this for a while. If you are having any problems let me know and I will try to help you out.

Andrius

=======================================================

Here is the detail from Denza's original post. If you want to see some screen shots please go to that post.

The DVD Project - Van Morrison Vol.1

I was originally going to do Van Morrison as a compilation volume, but since we already have the '70's and 90's Van the Man compilations floating around, I decided to just fix up a couple of the best filmed complete Van Morrison shows I have in the vault. These shows have circulated recently in PAL format, but these are transcoded to NTSC and touched up a bit, also with some jazzed up little intros for the band I made from photos from the concerts.

This is really great video and audio on both of these, and as there is no Van Morrison commercial DVD's available, this is about as close as it gets to that quality. Feauring the sexiest sax player on the planet (I have long wanted to be a father to her children), Ms. Candy Dulfer on both shows.

Even though these shows are only 7 months apart, there are only 3 songs repeated between the 2 DVD's which total over 3 hours. The X-mas show has long been a fav of mine in audio which I never found with a complete Summertime In England until this video. Hope you enjoy them...

btw, I made eye contact with Candy Dulfer at the Prince concert last year, but that was about it. I was lucky enough to shake hands with BB King later on in the summer, but I couldn't get that close to Candy. Too bad.

I have been talking to "peacheadcpl" offlist and he has given his word that he will come through.

Now Ozzypie is another matter. Seems he has contracted a rare VIRUS. It keeps him from re-offering his obligation, and out of the trades. But it does allow him to post in other areas of the site.

Must be one of those "sport" specific viruses, very rare!

There's always a huge demand for Denza's projects, it's very frustrating for him to work so damn hard on these projects then have them get stalled. Andrius is a tremendous help in spreading these special DVD projects around.

Alot of work goes into Denza's special projects. Please understand, he doesn't just copy these DVD's from another source, he edits hours of footage, audio and pictures then puts them together piece by piece. He worked on the ABB DVD's for months before he felt ready to offer it up. Just the prep work alone to initiate these projects is time consuming. Again, searching for footage, hours of editing and critiquing..... re-offering his work is the highest compliment and most appropriate form of gratitude, imo!

Thanks for that Libby, but it's not even as much about that as people just doing what they have said they would do. Your reputation in trading (or life for that matter) is everything.

I agree 100%, but I also feel it's important for folks to understand what people like you, Skipper, dbHelm, bbart and merlin28 do to keep the music alive by remastering, making film footage available, restoring audio, etc. Many folks here know how hard y'all work....many don't. They've just been enlightened!

I'm sitting here with my entire live show collection in front of me. I've been a part of this website past and present since 1997. I've actively traded since 2000. My most prized collections are the Denza shows, Skip remasters, dbhelm treasures, bhs72 blues shows, Goliath's impeccable taste in vintage ABB, the MMB series, Old Coot's Freddie King shows and my tapes that were dubbed by tommyc (God rest his sweet soul) way back when.

That be my .02, others mileage may vary on what this community means to 'em.

You can't always get what ya want, but if ya try sometimes ( give back), ya get what ya need. It's more than the music to me, it's the friends I've made along this journey of sharin' the tunes!

Thanks to those who were patient to me and for the technical assistance. Think the problem is finally resolved. Just want to say that I'm not the bad guy some of these posts might lead you to believe. I have always intended to reoffer this, but ran into some problems (despite the "no excuses" and "zero tolerance" attitude evident here). You will see more re-offers from me on other shows, but don't flatter yourselves into believing that you browbeat me into it - I had always planned to (and will) re-share many of the wonderful shows that all the great folks out there have so generously provided.

You know folks, compassion and patience are virtues too, and no "family" will long survive without them - please think about that. For all the "Peace and understanding" it sure seems that there is a lot more "comdemnation and let's lynch the bastard" mentality going on here.....Peace Y'all!

It may seem like a police state at the moment. But we all know that it isn't. I wouldn't take it too personally. Just many of the folks here noticed that very few reoffers were taking place. I think most here are passionate and patient. Whenever I have had troubles with this computer stuff, someone here has come to my aid everytime. I think posting and explaining will do two things. Let people know what is going on and also give people a chance to help you out. I have had a burner fry and people from this site have helped me complete commitments that I had outstanding. Unbelieveable!!!

I have noticed since a few (including me) have spoken out that the re-offers and vines have started moving. Plus tons of people have picked it up even more. It is an attempt to show some of the "very generous people" that their work and efforts are appreciated and without them there would be a lot les to trade. Personally I hate when anyone feels the urge to walk away or go undercover.

People have been sending me messages either aplogizing or explaining themselves. No need to do this. First, I am not in charge so you have nothing to say to me except HI!!! Secondly, just get the shows circulating. I will always contact anyone who seems to have stopped the movement of a vine. Usually it is a friendly reminder. If I hear back and the person has problems, I offer to help if possible. If there is no response for a while and I feel every effort to resolve the issue has been exhausted. I will call them out. People will sometimes signup to almost every thread. This always spells trouble for me. Because 1) they will be far too busy to get some of these done. Some Vines have 10 discs! If you get a couple of those plus a few smaller ones. We will wait one -two weeks to see movement. Remember that most of us have family and other commitments which means you too. Budget the time and the effort by not signing up to every Vine at once.
2) often when a person does this it indicates someone that will take and run. Not always but often.

The truth is that this is a fairly close group and there is a great amount of respect amongst us. Even those that don't really deal with each other will keep an eye out on the action. We have worked hard to try and have this friendly, giving atmosphere so I don't blame people for trying to protect it. New comers are always helped and given guidance. But to those that just want to take, you will be discovered by the people here and called out. we recently called out someone who came and joined with a new name. He ripped people off for Vines, take one leave one, trades and offeres he made. I personally had four different show that I was ripped off. i believe that their were at least a dozen people like me. Probably more. the worst part wasn't the loss of discs or money. It was dealing with the lies and excuses. Well I have two kids so I get plenty of those already.
This guy walked away with 50-100 free discs easily. If he had been honorable, he would still be here and collecting anything he wanted. Obviously, he needs this place because he came back. Wouldn't it have been easier not to be an **** ?
