Thought I'd spice up a Friday the 13th afternoon with the latest from the Shoebox Series, ABB 1/28/92 Sapporo, Japan.

As will be the case with all my Shoebox Series offers, to be eligible to signup you must have offered either your own B&P, or a freebie offer, here in 2005.

Usually I try to point out some of each show's highlights, but this time that honor goes to Brother DB Helm, who has once again done a masterful job of "sonically cleansing" this baby. As he finished this one up, DB pm'd me with this..."Coot, I gotta tell you man, I just finished listening to the final mix of 01-28-92 Sapporo, and I think this is the best Shoebox issue of the year (so far). The sound is outstanding, and there are not but a handful (IMO) of post-Duane performances better than this. This is the real ****. Warren and Dickey are on fire and totally in sync with each other, and Woody is hammering, right there with them."

Well now. That just about sums it up!

This is a B&P for seven and remember the stipulation about eligibility from above.

Two discs. Do not send Memorex or HP discs. If you are sending T-Y or Japanese Fugi, let me know and I will pre-burn. Post below and PM for shipping instructions.

Thanks once again to Sang for the transfer and to DB for the sonics.

Hope you didn't mind my quoting from your PM, DB....

Hey ya'll, when you listen to this show, turn the bass response up, just a touch, and crank the volume. This is a good one. Thanks Mr. Coot!!!

Hey Coot, that's a neat signature you have there. The offer looks kinda cool too, with an acoustic Nobody Knows, and an electric Melissa. It almost sounds like the band got that backwards. Hmmm, now how might I get sneaky and get myself a copy of this one? Hmmm.

I believe it means the acoustic set starts with Southbouth and ends with Melissa.

Southbound
Seven Turns
Midnight Rider
Come On In My Kitchen
Melissa
(electric)
Hoochie Coochie Man

D2

Enjoy!

Whoops.

Sorry about creating any confusion in the offer.

I haven't listened to an abb show in a while now.

I didn't have my mind on the topic here.

Yes, obviously it is as you said CM and DBHelm.

Geez, that post above is a little embarrassing.

My face is red.

They need a smiley face that shows embarrassment.
