Why do people feel they can send discs for an offer when they didn't take a spot? The point in an offer is to take the spot, once the door is closed, it's closed. Instead of including blanks in your package saying you'd like that show, you could have contacted me to ask if it's okay for me to burn it, not expect me to just burn it. I've got enough **** to burn on top of that, so be courtious and please contact me before just sending discs, anyone experience this?.. Losing respect..... rant of the day

If someone sends discs for offers they didn't get in on, I would suggest adding 'em to your blank disc stack. Just keep 'em.

That's not the point. Show some principle, and ask.

mail the discs back either blank or find some real crappy CD & burn that instead of what they expected you to do without asking.

Just send it back blank Mike and force the person to contact you offline then you can rip them.

And it really sucks when they get in on the offer and don't send the proper amount of blanks... right Mike? (snicker, giggle, chuckle, chortle).

I had that happen to me about a month ago. Signed up for one out of three that I offered and sent discs for one of the others too. That kind of irritated me to.
Next time it happens just send blanks back. They will get the message without having to get mean with them.
If you really want a show that bad pm the person. Most of the time they will include you(HINT HINT)

You're right about that. It has never happend to me, but I'd be rather irritated if it did. I'd eventually send them back, maybe by Christmas.

For example, I've had a B&P package on my desk since January because the kid didn't send return postage or return mailing label. I e-mailed him three times. He responded the first time, back in January, and then nothing.

Maybe I don't deserve to rant because I don't offer with as much regularity as those above, BUT when I get a package with no note, no return envelope, no postage, a return addresss that I cannot match to those who posted......

well, anyway, I figure if he (she?) decides that it's been a while and they haven't received their discs, he (she?) can look up the thread and contact me!

hmm, maybe that's the ticket - keep their package & wait for them to contact you!

I try to remind newbies not to send the jewel cases...but some of them still do

"Paper or plastic sleeves..." should be easy enough to remember, right?
