I'm hoping Mule will play somewhere in Vegas on Halloween, since I'll be in town for Vegoose. At least i"ll get to c them there, but you really enjoy a smaller venue also.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Mule is my favorite band by far, but the website and their website staff do not stay on top of things. Badly organized, I guess. They said hopefully the fans will get an update on tour dates before the weekend. My previous experience with the Mule website says... we'll be REALLY lucky to get the date before next weekend.

Got your wish BDOB! Can't believe they are going to play TWO shows in Quincy, Florida!!!! Only 20 minutes from my house (Tallahssee) www.spanishmossproductions.com It's been on the plate for a while now but never thought it would happen. Time for another run for you and Bluedad - only rough camping available but there's a hotel about seven miles away from the farm

Oh Helen. I have much better news. They're at The Tabernacle two times in November. I'm sorry to say, but I'll be heading west to see them instead of south.

Well, I'll certainly eat my words I'm glad they got the dates posted and I'm glad there's great news for Atlanta and all the other cities in the SE! I'll be at U2 on the 18th, but I'll certainly be at The Tabernacle on Saturday night. Glad to see the Mule doing some great dates!

Just got back home from London and I'm still buzzing. Warren and the boys were hot tonight and played for just short of 3 hours. First set was excellent, nice mixture and balance of tunes and we got a real nice "Blue Sky" tease in the middle of "I'll Be The One". Actually "tease" doesn't do it justice because it lasted a few minutes of the guitar solo. Second set didn't start off quite as good as the first but sure picked up as it went on and we had a nice little "Les Brers" tease thrown in to "Silent Scream". Encore was dedicated to the poor souls of New Orleans and was a very nice laid back jazzy version of "Watchtower". Excellent night, and great company too. Manchester and Newcastle, get ready for some Mule . . . Warren is really hittin' the note at the moment!!!

Here's the set list . . .

09.09.05 Mean Fiddler - London, U.K.

SET 1:
Mr. Man
Perfect Shelter
About To Rage
Larger Than Life
Sco-mule
I'll Be The One (Blue Sky theme in guitar solo)
32/20 Blues
Banks Of The Deep End
Thorazine Shuffle

SET 2:
My Oh My
Driving Rain
I'm A Ram
Silent Scream>
Drums>
Silent Scream Reprise (Les Brers tease)
Left Coast Groovies
Mother Earth
Blind Man In The Dark

ENCORE:
All Along The Watchtower

Enjoy yourself tomorrow Mike . . . like I need to tell you that!!!

I've just posted this on Warren's page, but it doesn't hurt to cross-post:

My better pictures from B'ham on Thursday are up here,

http://photobucket.com/albums/b204/hoggydoggy/Govt%20Mule%208th%20Sept%2020 05/

I think they came out pretty well (and being on the front rail helped!) - the flashless ones have the better vibe, though only a few of those have the definition I wanted.

Anyway, here's another sample,

Mo' mule tonight - WHOO HOO!!!

I'm thinking they will just do the NYE beacon thing.

Not good for me.

Any Mulers flying in for the Down on the Farm fest and want to camp but can't fly in their gear, I'll be glad to try and round up some tents, etc. for ya. Just send me a PM and I'll see what I can do - pillows, air mattresses, tents, blankets, etc. Lots of vendors so food won't be a problem. I've heard that they are even going to try and come up with shower facilities this year - hope so!
