And who replaced him? I'm seeing them Friday & Saturday and was curious.

Larry Campbell is his replacement.

Does Phil have shows up on BT or the archive?

Phil Lesh, Chris Robinson, Larry Campbell, John Molo, Mookie Siegel, Barry Sless

Hell, I'd probably head over to NJPAC to catch em tonight, but I'm going to catch Assembly of Dust at Mexicalis instead.

My brother who was with me at NJPAC Tuesday commented that Larry had Jerry's licks down on the Pedal Steel he was playing. Larry just stood stage right and cooked all night. Very impressive band.

I feel like Phil and Friends is evolving like the original Dead. He started out the first few years with big spacey jams . Very Psychedelic. The 2001 Summer tour was insane.

Now without Jimmy and Warren he seems to be going in the country rock direction like the Dead did in 1970. It seems cyclical to me. I wish they made it to NYC this tour.

I really like the direction these guys are taking their music. Hopefully we will get some dates down here in NC in 2006!

Saw the 2nd night at NJPAC(a beautiful venue)
The bad is real good but I rather have Jimmy & Warren,
It was just missing something

I am going to 2 nights at the House of Blues show in AC. the BEST place to have a few after or before the show is The Foundation Room across the hall from the concert venue..

its a tough invite to get but if you look around you might find one ....

The Foundation Room at HOB Atlantic City is a members-only secluded club with unparalleled elegant space for professional and personal entertaining. Members have privileges in all of our Foundation Rooms across the country. A portion of membership fees supports the International House of Blues Foundation

here is a link http://hob.com/venues/clubvenues/atlanticcity/foundationroom.asp

ps the concert hall has great sight lines and a fantastic balcony thats 20 feet from the stage ...see you there
