I'm really curious myself just how many folks will signup for this one.

One of today's more popular groups among younger listeners, The White Stripes are nothing if not unique. This brother/sister (?)- husband/wife (?) duo are at the same time interesting and also frustrating to listen to.

Guitarist/vocalist Jack White can actually get in some interesting licks on slide guitar. Plus, he has an understanding of many different artists evidenced by the songs of Son House and Bob Dylan that appear on this (partial) show. His vocals sometimes border on the sound a cat makes when its tail is caught in a closing door, but that's just my opinion.

Drummer Meg White is another story. She has to be the most underskilled, highly paid professional musician living and breathing on the planet. Honestly, no matter which song they're playing, it sounds to me like a drummer taking their first instructional lesson. The really nice thing about this is, you can actually imagine that it's you on stage playing.

This is a partial show from 3/15/2, Tavastia Klubi, Helsinki, Finland. This portion was broadcast on FM so the sound quality is very nice.

Many Derek & Mule fans will recognize "Death Letter" and "Grinnin' In Your Face" and a tease of "John The Revelator". Dylan's "Lovesick" is performed. Most of the tunes are original White Stripes material.

So, are you brave enough to try this one out?

This offer will be open for 24 hours unless it fills sooner.

B&P for 5, one disc. Post below and PM for shipping details.

I find Jack White to be rooted in country blues , just like say Bob Dylan or even Roy Orbison in surreal vocal delivery. But I've also caught glimpses of Jimi Page in guitar style kinda like Heartbreaker... I like it though, he /they are/were a true original. Hard to come by in this day and age of Limp Biscuits and Stinkin' Park
