Their covers of I Can't Stand The Rain, and Black Coffee, not to mention their 27 min. version of Walk On Gilded Splinters, from Rockin' the Fillmore.
Pretty great stuff alright. If your body don't MOVE during the intro of Hot n Nasty, then ya DO need a doctah

I love Humble Pie!!! I picked up Humble Pie Live The King Biscuit Flower Hour.
Great stuff. Really not a bad tune on here and some even sound better than the studio version. My fav on here is Up Your Sleeve! Great song to kick off a concert!

l was a big Humble Pie fan in the early 70's. Smokin' has to be one of the best rock album's of its time. Jerry Shirley's druming is great and very underrated. l agree on Up Our Sleeve on a great tune to open the show. l belive they where going to do a reuion tour w/Peter Framton, but Steve Marriot died in a house fire.

Steve Mariott had a great voice and with Frampton on guitar and the rest of the band...they rocked the Filmore for sure. They were about the loudest band I ever heard there...but they weren't loud to cover up crappy playing.... they were great at what they did....

With a nod of respect to the current ABB version, I will always like Humble Pie's version of Walk on Guilded Splinters better.

Rock on !!!!
