Was in DC/Balt this week to see a doctor and drivin on monday listening to the classic rock station.

Caller talking to the DJ about gettin premiun seats for the ABB at Nissan. He seem sincerely excited.

DJ says Derek Trucks band is the opener.

Clueless Caller: Do you think he'll sit in with the Allman Brothers?

The DJ was kind; "He'll play with his band and then his regular set with the ABB"

Caller (catching on) 2 gigs is a night cool.

I had to laugh.

At Chicago's only show this year, Gov't Mule is opening. I sure hope that Darren Hanes guy sits in. That guy can jam some Floyd like nobody's business. I loved his playing during that Woody Guthrie tribute show.

Isn't Gov't Mule a bluegrass band? I heard they play at all those festivals...

That's wild, John Bluedad--after seeing Ron's cool sequence, that Hanes song popped into my head, and then there's your post! Did you just see that TV commercial with Michael Jordan blocking all of Kevin Bacon's shots, too?
