Sure is. Other than the whirr of the computer fan, and the tv, it's pretty quiet.

I think what you are seeing is the fact that most Republicans can take a loss without crying like a little child...you know... not like "SOME" of the "whiner" Democrats...stamping their feet, rolling on the floor and holding their breath like Opie Taylor did when Andy would not buy him that bicycle....

When you lose...you hold your head up....go on about your business....work hard....and wait for your chance to be a winner again....cause it will happen more sooner than later.

George W. and Rummy did a bad job...they abandoned their own party..along with a host of other so called Republicans...but wallowing and crying will not change anything. You give the Country a chance to see the Democrats with no real agenda either...other than a few puny plans...by 2008 there is a good chance that the public will be sick and tired of the arrogant, snobbish Nancy Pelosi, Ted Kennedy and crew...and if...and I said "IF" the Republicans can come up with a real conservative candidate....instead of someone like George W...who really is not a true Conservative..or a true leader....then...maybe things can change for the better.

But now it's time for Dems to bask in their glory.........they earned it because of the inept idiot Bush turned out to be. So enjoy it while it last..............The Republicans will lick their wounds and be okay...i'm sure of that.

LOL.. Apparently you arent listening to any of the Republican talking heads. And Im going to give it a couple of days to all sink in and then you will see a few people biatching. Heck, its already started here with a couple of people.

Not without some very specific changes in core values as well as actually having to deliver on promises and plans.

Neither will crying about Pelosi, waving around Hillary Clinton voo doo dolls, etc. CB is already melting down and its only been a day.

Their "puny" plans are far greater than stay the course.

Well, I know the Republicans will be doing their part to demonize Pelosi (youre already doing it) and anyone else they see as a threat to them. Arrogant and snobbish? Please. Like this whole administration isnt a bunch of spoiled brats. The arrogance and hubris of Bush and Rumsfeld is one of the primary reasons that Tuesday was such a disaster for the Republicans.

Is Pelosi supposed to be meek and mild and go hat-in-hand around the House and Senate asking kindly for bi-partisanship? No, she is "arrogant and snobbish" because thats the picture that the Republicans have painted. You guys are going to have to stop doing that sort of thing or its going to keep pushing voters away.

A pretty package can still contain a turd. You guys will have to fix whats broken and have a plan for action that doesnt include marching our soldiers into a meat grinder without a clear plan for either victory or the aftermath. The voters spoke loud and clear about this issue.

Basking in glory? Hell no, its time to go to work. Theres greater "glory" in accomplishment than in sitting on laurels. Im hoping they keep their word and that it isnt more of the same. We have to have direction in Iraq and elsewhere.

Puny plans? What plans? Just kidding.

Actually, there is nothing to say, the republicans totally got what they deserved. Perhaps they will now have their heads surgically removed from their asses and listen to the American public.

I'm waiting for Bush to say something like " I don't need to listen to the public, Jesus told me to stay the course ."

Just kidding, he's been good about not spewing such nonsense like that lately. I'm glad his arrogance and flat out denial of reality has been called out. I don't hate the man like a lot of people, I would love to have seen him succeed and become more of a statesman but it's just too dam late.

It's going to be an interesting ride the next 2 years. I just hope they do what's best for the people who are on the ground over there.

As much as I would like to say that we are going to see changes, I just really don't see it happening. Unless both sides gets there heads out of their a**es and works together. Regardless of what side of the political fence you sit on, at the end of the day both sides have had a part in putting us in the situations we are in today. But I believe all of the years of finger pointing and such has caused enough damage to where it's going to take more that a couple of years to right the ship...........Just my two cents.

Crap. Empty, no-direction, no-solution, entitlement/tax Crap.
Misguided, misinformed, and a threat to the USA.

yea alot of crying in their beer in a dark basement somewhere. anyway, they will survive, just like the country will. i was shocked by the sense shown in the vote. it has been close to 15 years of people like ralph reed, tom delay, i thought we would never be done with those guys. next is to take back the keys to the Treasury from Haliburton.

one small but symbolic thing that could be done first is to stop the sex slave business in saipan that has been operating under the protection of tom delay and the republicans. that would be nice.

Congress in the last six years took entitlement spending to an all-time high, including the Medicare bill, of which there is still no way to pay for it.

The second line of your signature is dead-on:
You HAVE been lied to.

The Tax-and-spenders and the ones running up the deficits are Team Red, bro. And the only ones getting any bang for your taxpayer dollars are millionaires.

But by all means, keep watching Fox News, though I don't know why you let those mean people make you out a fool.

Good words in life Kenny... LOL, you know I love you, bro, but I'll just say this: if you lose fair and square and then whine about it, I agree with you 100 percent. On the other hand, if you see the rules being broken and people not allowed to play cuz they're poor, or black, or live in a city instead of the suburbs, well, then it's your patriotic duty to say something, and say it loud. The last time I checked, the USA wasn't all about stopping people from voting. Some guys who run your party have been. No shame in hollering about that.

And if the Democrats ever try to stop you from voting, I will be the first in line to scream blubber and moan about THAT too.
