He is probably older than you are.
Happy Birthday Rat-dude!
The Duque of Earl is at least 41 and I would guess more like 45. He's a wonder.

Johnny's out, Melky's in...
Cabrera to start for Damon while he's out
Associated Press
New York Yankees center fielder Johnny Damon has a sore right calf and wasn't in the posted lineup for Wednesday's game against the Devil Rays, which was postponed because of rain.
"I could barely walk," Damon said. "It felt like cramps the other day, but it's definitely much worse than that."
Damon left Monday's opening victory over Tampa Bay with cramps in both calves, but said Wednesday only the right one was still bothering him. In the clubhouse, he had his right calf wrapped.
"We're probably dealing with a strain, but to what degree we don't know yet," general manager Brian Cashman said. "No bruising. It's not swollen. But it's sore."
Melky Cabrera was slated to start in center field Wednesday, and second baseman Robinson Cano was in the leadoff spot.

I'm disappointed in my Red Sox brethren here, I thought we had common cause. By the way, can somebody pass the butter, cuz Schilling is TOAST! ____________________

No problem there. They wont skip a beat, IMHO.
I think Cano can handle leadoff duties as well. ____________________ RIP Cindy Fischer

Watched my first baseball game at home in hidef last night. Up till now I've only watched the NFL and NHL on my new HDTV. Saw the Red Sox/Royals game last night, sure is a big improvement on picture quality (despite what the wife says)
Guess all eyes will be on Dice-K today (right gondy)
I was thinking of leaving early today to catch the Jays on tv, but unless they can find a way to clone Roy Halladay, I don't see a better finish than 3rd in their division

Rough start for the Phils and it's the same ole crap.
Bullpen explosions and lack of timely hitting.
It's nights like those I'm glad I don't have Comcast
or I would have punted the telly.
Oh well, 160 and 2 ain't bad! ____________________ "May the good Lord shine a light on you....make every song you sing your favorite tune..."- |

The Phillies are doing better than the Cardinals. Who were those guys? It looked like they've never seen a baseball field before.
They made Joe Maine look like Cy Young.

Otie, I was glad to see that Steve "Mets will finish 3rd in the NL East" Phillips was in attendance last night.
