Thanks for the tip. I know they have a new one coming out but I have not heard any new singles yet.

They did a show on the lot where I work - I have audio sessions with an engineer who was previously with G&R and he took me over to introduce me - very nice guys....Slash's guitar tech was giving me the tour - amazing collection!

Guns and Roses minus Axel Rose. Anything minus Axel is better than anything with him.

Add the lead singer from the Stone Temple Pilots and presto you have velvet revolver!

I really like this band as stated above, high energy and just down and dirty Rock n Roll............. Slash is a bada##

Their first album ,Contriband, was awesome. Not a bad song on it. IMO

I came upon it accidentally just surfing so I watched it...didn't grab me too much, the riff was kinda boring and nothing new under the sun, vox were decent, Slash's solo was cool and sounded good; overall still better than most of the MTV and radio-friendly bands

went to the CD store today though and they had the new album cranking and it was sounding great! Slash's tone was big and fat and just straight up rock n roll, heard about 4 songs (including the song they did on Leno), 3 of the songs I was really getting into (as far as pretty much pure rock n roll with cool hooks and plenty of guitar)

I didn't care for the song they played on Leno. It didn't grab me like the first time I heard Slither off their first album.

The main part sounds like a song from Stone Temple's first or second record.

Decent tune. I had heard that this album is far better than the first.

I too thought the song sounded just like STP. I couldn't think of a particular song, but the style of the song sounded just like STP.

It is one of the rowdier STP songs. not saying it is identical. Just the main guitar riff is very similar. Don't know the names of the STP songs but it was one of my favorite tunes by them.
