Anybody want to suggest the next song that gets updated/ fleshed out/ rehashed/ reevaluated/ dissected/ infected/ evolved/ revolved?

Good Choice Marc. I don't see why we can't have a few songs going at once. So I am hoping some others will shout out some other songs they would like to see fleshed out better than what is currently available on the Music link.

If not sounds good to me! I've never really gotten very deep in to this one. That harmonized guitar riff should be pretty fun to learn. Marc, you want to start the thread & give a couple of cents worth of input? I need to give this one a good listen & a few jams before I start in. There is a good section in Skydog by Randy Poe that I want to revisit as well, so that I can quote it directly & relate it to the readers.

Peace~! Brian

This is how I play the lead:

Main Riff 1

e
b-----------5--8---8/10----------------5--8 ------------------
g 7p5---------------------7p5----------------5h6----------- x2
d -------7 --------------------------7---------------------------
a
E

Main Riff 2

e ----------------------------------------5-----------
b 8--8--6,----6--6--5,---5--6---8----- 5-------
g ---------------------------------------------- 4
d
a
E

Back to Main Riff 1

then

e
b
g-----4-5-5-5-4-4-4-5-5-5-4-4-4------4-5-4---------- x2
d 7-------------------------------------- 7-----------5------7
a ----------------------------------------------------------7
E

then

e
b----5- 6----6--8--5-6--8--5-6-5----------------------5--------5------ -
g 7--------7----------------------------7--5-------5--7------5--7----5-7----- -x3-----------7/9
d------------------------------------------------7------------------------- ----
a
E

then there is a real fast dickey betts/duane allman riff that i am working on

then the verse and

d--------7---
a--7h9------ etc...

Let me know how this sounds, I am trying to figure out some more parts

Funny . . . I actually didn't submit anything to this one. But you're welcome all the same!

Good work everybody!

I say the next one to work on would be greggs acoustic version of come and go blues.

I agree. We have two choices- we can finish Kind of Bird before starting it. Or do it simultaneously. (I actually have done some pretty extensive tabbing on Come n Go Blues & I believe it may be somewhere in the "Chors to Songs" thread)

I'm going to go ahead & make an executive decision here & start the Come n Go Blues thread now.

If/when we finish Kind of Byrd I would like to work on Pegasus and/or High Falls.

I would really like to get High Falls all in one place. It is scattered all over numerous threads in Shop Talk & it is hard to follow once you find its bits & pieces.

Hey brutha, We already worked up Mountain Jam. It's been updated on the Music Link & there is also a thread in Shop Talk where you can see all of the contributions that were made by those who participated. If there is something that we missed please let me know & I will try to get it worked up. Thanks!
