Ok, So Gov't Mule is playing 25 miles away in one direction and "Soul Stew" is playing 25 miles away in the other direction. You have scored a 3rd row seat for both shows, on the same night at the same time. Which way will you drive and why?

I love both, but for me it would be Gov't Mule every time.

Love Derek though and look forward to seeing Soul Stew for the first time when they come to NY.

Soul Stew! Derek and Susan! No thinking required.

But I did miss their show last week in Boca Raton because I thought
I might have to leave immediately to take care of my sister.
It was sold out anyway. more

Mule for me.

If it was Mule v. DTB, I'd go with DTB. Soul Stew Revival, while great, just doesn't compare to DTB alone, IMVHO.

It's interesting how few people are undecided or hesitant about choosing one over the other. Most respondents have been very firm in their answers, as I will be:

Soul Stew Revival, without question - and my answer would be the same for the DTB.

As to the why . . . it can't be quantified. I happen to like Derek-driven music better than Warren-driven music.

That's it.
