Cool setlist !!! Wouldn't mind if they play this set coming saturday at the Bospop Festival in Weert, Netherlands. And since they trow in a handful of well known covers i hope they also pick a CCR song and invite John Fogerty to the stage. Wishful thinking i guess...but who knows.

Honeytribe have announced a Warsaw date in October. Hope it's the first of a Euro tour including some UK dates.

Indeed ... and preferably on a Friday or saturday night so that we in the provinces can get into London to see him ...

I thought Northsyde were terrifiic at the Ealing Blues Festival.

Definitely would recommend people to seek out their (infrequent) shows or CDs.

Jut letting you know that my band The Snakeoil Rattlers are playing The Gladstone pub in borough tonight. It's our 50th gig (who would've thought we'd make it that far) and we're continuing to work on the more rockier sound of recent outings. Not sure what time we're on, probably 9 or 10pm and it's free so won't cost you penny.

Hope you have a great gig Barry ... sorry I can't make it ... but getting into London during the week after work is difficult ... next year will be different though as I will be retired and so will be able to make a few shows then ... all the best ...

Philippa and I saw the excellent WT Feaster Band from Indianapolis in Chislehurst last night. Philippa lives in Chislehurst and Pete Feenstra has been promoting at a venue there for the last couple of years - Buddy Whttington, Skinny Molly, Oli Brown, Chantel McGregor, tribute act sort of gigs, but we've seen Mick Taylor and Colin Blunstone (!) too.

Devon Allman's Honeytribe are slated to play there on Thu 26 Oct. I have checked Feenstra's other venues and can't see Honeytribe listed anywhere else yet.

For the record, Feenstra is currently promoting at the following, other than Chislehurst:

Bulls Head, Barnes ("Stormy" Mondays!)
Wingspan Club, Crawley
Half Moon, Herne Hill
The Westcoast, Margate
Sutton United FC (Boom Boom Club)
All Saints Arts Centre, Whetstone

No disrespect intended to Mr Feenstra ... he does a very good job promoting lesser known bands at his venues ... but his venues are very difficult to get to for people who do not live locally making it nigh on impossible for me to get to mid-week gigs.

I do hope, therefore, that Devon is not tied into his venues and could play instead at venues more in the centre of London such as (say) the 100 Club / the Borderline ...
