Two Brewers is closer to the venue but The Trader is better for food ... I will be happy with either ...

I know it is not quite the same if you save your tickets as mementos ... but I always get my tickets by email these days and print them off at home ... that way I have the tickets in my grubby little mits the day that I buy them ... takes out all the stress of waiting ...

I went with the so called pre sale on the TTB website.. Ticket Factory was the agent. Never heard of them. They told me tickets posted nearer the date... and fair enough they turned up yesterday !

I bought mine in the so called pre sale too... no advantage as it's standing only.

Probably a double booking!!!! Derek and Susan will have to set up their gear in O Neils

a support band. why?
I know RRF are good but as the curfew is 11... a short set by TTB after coming all the way to the UK... rediculous

If TTB come on at 9 that gives them a good 2 hours so I don't see why having a support should affect the set length. I'm assuming they don't indulge in Mule style 2 set marathons but correct me if I'm wrong. Pleased to be seeing 2 great bands on the same bill, RRFB are a storming live act so it's a great value evening.

No, I've got level 1 seats, my gear's not really suitable for up there, best close-up in small clubs.

Bad news for those of us relying on public transport to get to gigs in London..
Tube strike called affecting days when Derek and Susan play and also the day of Gregg's gig

Intend to be in O'Neills well before the rushhour starts! Friday may be more of an issue as I'm coming in with Martyn and Mal by car.

BBC reported the following:

"Drivers belonging to the RMT will strike between noon on 29 June and 1159 on 30 June and between noon and 2100 BST on 1 July."

For the Derek & Susan gig, Jim and I are staying overnight in Shepherd's Bush ... so I guess it means a two mile walk from Paddington to the Bush on Wednesday afternoon and then wait until noon Thursday morning for the tubes to start again ...

For the Gregg gig, the strike ends at 9pm ... thus hopefully we will be able to get home ok ... so the main problem will be getting to the gig ... I guess a taxi from Paddington to the Barbican is an option for me ... anybody got an idea of how much that would cost?

I wouldn't panic too much, these things are very rarely all-out affairs & don't forget buses do run in London! Plan your journey here....
