I think it's a full band show in Manchester as they have been tweeting about borrowing a Hammond organ

This is a tie-in with a documentary film about Muscle Shoals showing the same day as part of the Sundance Film Festival.

You can buy a combined ticket for the film and gig for £42 (gig only £29.70). Film showing at 1800 at the O2.

I'd be interested in seeing the film at some point but have no interest in seeing Gregg Allman.

I've never had much interest in GA outside of the ABB. I've got only Laidback and LCB out of his albums. The last time he was at Shepherds Bush, i only got a ticket at the last minute from a tout.

I think he's finished musically and my opinion of him as a person was badly diminished by his book. I've never heard of John Paul White or The Civil Wars, I'm afraid, so it's a "Pass" from me.

Not this time. I'm hoping it clashes with the Jags title winning celebrations at the last home game!

Both JJ's and the Garage's websites have this listed as the 5th.

Also playing at the Cornbury Festival on the 6th.

It was an excellent show. High energy stuff in the main, which was a releif after the too poppy direction of the last couple of albums. I'd go again.

Will try & make the Northsyde show, giving Gregg a miss though, wasn't bowled over last time. JJ's a definite, doing the Black Crowes next week, possibly Simon McBride the week after.

Just a heads up on the Gregg Allman 'show'. I've just received an email from SeeTickets saying they are refunding my money in FULL, as the movie/gig has now become a combination ticket at the reduced price of £22.50 plus booking fee, although it doesn't appear to be quite this price upon re-ordering. Priority tickets are being held over until they revert to general sale. I've re-ordered my ticket online, but the email does say that customer services will contact me should i wish to re-order over the phone.
The disappointing thing though, is the fact that the GA & JPW show will only be a 45 minute performance. Seems Gregg doesn't like performing to the UK fans for too long onstage, after his abrupt ending a couple of years ago at SBE. Ah well, as i say i have booked again, but mainly to see the film.

I may go for the "knock-down" price of £22.50 + fees.

The lay-out seems to be round tables. Front row tables available but probably crap for viewing the film. Anybody selected a table?

I've opted for table 4. But i think the film is in a different part of the o2, or at least thats the impression i got when i originally purchased my combination ticket.
