Thank for the advice Jim I lll check out the accommodation you suggest. . Disappointed I'll miss you at ttb but I lol catch you sometime I m sure. My son lives in Holland these days and Alison says the only chance I lol have to see warren would be in Amsterdam so I lol not see you there. Sorry about all the lols blame it on my inability to work the spellchecker on the iPad

I was going to have to give this show a miss as I would not be able to get the time off work, but what the hell, I'm going, got a ticket for G22 through eventim.

Hotels in the region seem a bit pricey, anyone got any suggestions, or fancy sharing.

If I were going on my own I would have gone by train, but as Jan is coming with me I have decided to drive to London as it is the cheapest option. I have therefore booked a hotel in Seven Sisters Road opposite Finsbury Park, as it is easy to get in by tube from there and means I don't have to drive too far into the centre of London.

Still not very cheap where we are staying Mike, but it is our Anniversary weekend, so Jan and I are going to make a day of it and go to the Celtic Exhibition at the British Museum in the afternoon before meeting up with you guys pre-show.

What I suggest Mike is that you look at a tube map and see what line is convenient for getting to and from the gig and also the station you are arriving at, and then see if there are any cheap hotels available on the outer edge of Underground Zone 2.

Colin, I think that is what I will probably do. Don't even mind paying for a cab to get me to a cheaper albeit a decent hotel further from the venue. I asked my dept Manager today could I take the Saturday as my day off, he said no, so I went to the Store Manager and explained to him my circumstances. He said he knew that people had lives outside of work and didn't see it as a problem, so I said to him could I take it as a days holiday, he agreed and signed my form. Don't think my dept Manager will say much to me tomorrow, but do I care, not a jot. It is Warren Haynes we are going to see after all.

Looking at the acts taking part in free shows around the O2 during the day. I expect Bernie Marsden is the most likely to sit in, but you never know.

Matt Schofield may be in the building a day early, I suppose.

Matt Schofield is a friend of Derek and Susan ... he sat in with Susan briefly during her gig at the 100 Club a few years ago ... so I wouldn't be at all surprised if he was there ...

Hope you guys all enjoy the show ... sadly I cannot make it but I (and Janet) will be down in London for Warren's gig next month ...

Anyone need a ticket (Seat F15) for Warren in London on 21st? Giving you lot first dibs before it goes on one of these dodgy resale sites.

I would love to spend the afternoon at the O2 watching Laurence Jones, Bernie Marsden etc but I've got some pretty heavy family stuff going on and will probably just make the show with its early start.

I'll watch out for suggested meet-up venues just in case I get there early.
