This may have been covered before, so for that I apologize.

I had heard that if you have a DUI on your record, they may hassle you at the Canadian border and not allow you to enter.

True?

all I can say is speak when spoken to. years ago I was at the border in my car with 2 other fellow photographers, we were going to Montreal to shoot the Canadian Grand Prix for CP the AP of Canada,my big mouth friend gladly volunteers the information, oh yeah said the border guard,"where's your working papers" to make a long story short we spent about 10 hours at the border waiting for the Montreal Bureau to fax our working papers, also got a thorough search of my vehicle and cameras, opening up every camera body and exposing the film inside, jeez and I thought Canada was like America Lite, it's more like an efficiecy apartment over a great party.
