I don't know how practical these guitars are. I mean look how much bigger they are than the car in the corner.

I think that tele's earmarked for the Nashville Hard Rock Cafe.

I thought myself pretty much up on the history of electramimical instrumementations, but I have to admit I was not aware there was a Fender model called a "Broadcaster."

If I'm correct, Fender changed the name because Gretch was making a set of drums called "Broadcaster".

Robert Fripp switched to Japanese knockoffs because he couldn't afford the insurance to tour with his 1954 Les Paul Custom Black Beauty

(this is not his but is exactly like his)

my Les Paul Studio has the gold hardware on black. I like that look.

Danny Kirwan had one of those...the night before he was fired from Fleetwood Mac, he busted it into bits in the dressing room just minutes before a gig and refused to go on stage. He sat with the sound engineer during their set and then when the set was over, he went backstage and offered his critique of their set. Gee, I wonder why they fired him?

That's what I've read, as well. Until they came up with "Telecaster", they made models with no name on the decal...those became known as "No Casters".
