Kind of hard to reason with a delusional Sociopath.

Our Govenor is hitting the talk shows, a friend of the mayors makes 300K on a questionable homeless shelter deal that left the players with money in thier pockets, and the shelter in deep debt. Todd Stroger has family and friends on the payroll, and the city is closing 4 of the 12 mental centers, abandoning those that need help the most. How do these bast$rds sleep at night?

By checking their bank accounts online before they go to bed...

You should see the way they treat the rest of the state....... We have lost most of our clinics in the southern 7 countys.....[ Massac Co., Metropolis ]
Sometimes this was the only doctor for 100's of miles.....

We joke down here that Southern , Ill. means Champaign.......

After the tornado in 03 down here , The first thing Blago said when he got off the plane was......

" I did'nt know it came down this far " True story.....my uncle met him at the airport.....

Feeling like the cousin from the other side of the tracks? Really too bad. It's always the people that need it the most.

Well, I voted for him when I was still living in Chicago, and, uh, never mind...

I have to admit this guy is fascinating real life television. Who knows what he's going to do next....and who, in their right mind could ever predict his next move?! Oprah to fill Obama's senate seat....I didn't see that one coming!

For the second term he ran against Judy Barr Topinka; whose platform if I recall correctly was based on what a strongly entrenched political insider she was.

I dunno.... 3 Illinois governers in the last 35 years have gone to prison....Otto Kerner, Dan Walker, and George Ryan. And soon to be a 4th?

This doesn't even count all the Aldermen from the City of Chicago (notorious criminals-the list is endless), City Councilmen, Cook County Politicians, State Senators, City Inspectors, the list goes on and on....

It's a sad situation in a lot of cities, I suppose. At least they are catching some of them.

Hey, Rich, you coming back out West anytime?

Nothing on the horizon right now, Allen. I was in SF a year ago last October for the National Anesthesiologists Convention but it was in Chicago last year.

I was in the Bay Area for about 24 hours in Mountain View back in November for an interview but didn't get the job...they decided not to fill the position due to the economy. Damn-the coast-to-coast junket almost killed me...

Too bad you didn't get the job. That would be cool having you out here. Maybe the Brothers will come out West this year. I would like to see them at the Fillmore West one time in my life. Those shows at the Warfield sure were fun.

I did see B.B. King for the first time at the Fillmore when I was in SF in Oct. of '07. When he came out I had tears in my eyes.

Also caught the Radiators at the Independent....very cool crowd, very cool (and smoky!) show...

Obviously, from the posted chart, Nebraska officials know how to get away with whatever they're doing.....Florida politicians.....not so smart.

Looks like Hunter S. Thompson was right...he said that FLA was by far the most corrupt state in the USA and made Sodom and Gomorroh look like Branson, Mo...

Wow. Seeing someone like B. B. King there would be so awesome. I have seen Derek at the Fillmore, Taj Mahal, North Mississippi Allstars, Goverment Mule, Robert Randolph, maybe a few others. But seeing the Brothers there would be the ultimate. I think I've heard people say it is too small for them now.

I saw Dickey at the Independent. That place is about as basic as it gets. Cinderblock walls, a bar, and a stage, if I recall.

Yup, the Indy is pretty basic and in kind of a sketchy neighborhood....I really didn't care once I was inside and partook of the generosity of a Rads fan.....all was bliss from thereon in...

I like the Radiators. I'd never really listened to them til I saw them at JazzFest. That would be cool seeing them in a place like the Independent.
