Any predictions on who is going to win the race? I am really not a big Nascar fan but this is the Holy Grail of races. I will tune in for the last ten laps or so, that is about all I can handle. Golf is the same way for me. I can watch the last 3 holes of a tournament, but that is about it. Well, it should be a great race! I am going with Tony Stewart. This guy reminds me a ltitle of AJ Foyt. If anybody can win being an owner and a driver, it's smoke!

I like Stewart too, the guy lives and breathes racin'! Since you took him, I'll go w/ Jeff Gordon, who will be looking to redeem a sub-par year last year. But I'll be pulling for Awesome Bill from Dawsonville in the Wood Bros car. And also F1 alum Scott Speed.

I like to watch the first hour, take a nap w/ the race on and then wake up for the last hour or so. Drivers to watch:

Mark Martin

I liked Stewart today until he had to go to a back up car

I like Mark Martin also. Being on the Hendrick team has given him a boost in equipment, as a driver he is as competetive as they come.

Dark horse - Jamie McMurray This could finally be a huge year for him IMO.

I want Mark Martin, but I think Jimmie Johnson will take the checkered flag.

I'll be curious to see how Logano does ... 18, sheesh...

If Mark Martin can't finish in the top 5 in the 5 car, consistently this year.....

I want to see Tony Stewart and Newman do well, but it is a new team...throw out this race and let's see how they do week in and week out at the regular tracks. Slightly skeptical here, but we will see...I would like to see them do well.

Good guys like Jeff Burton just don't seem to consistently do well, sort of the same with Kenseth...both drivers I like, but for whatever reason they seem to have troubles.

I just don't want to see these drivers win all the time...Johnson, Edwards, Kyle Busch...for cripes sakes, I'd almost rather see the 24 win one here and there instead of these guys.

Betting there will be a few big ones. Wasn't there a caution record set in that last 125?

As long as this guy doesn't win all will be good.

I would love to see that too. I also would love to see Martin win.

I just want a good race, back and forth leaders all day. Some unexpected excitement would get nascar off to a good 09 start.

WTF??? I've seen longer rain delays in a little league game. Let them race to decide the winner. That was a joke. I'd be pissed if I spent all the my money to get there then they call race after 15 minute rain delay. Oh well. Fox probably called it.

I was disappointed in the rain shortened ending to the race. But I was more disappointed in Matt Kenseth CRYING after being declared the winner. This is racing! You don't CRY at a race, for Pete's sake!!

Congrats to Matt Kenseth on winning the Daytona 375.

Nearly two hours of TV prerace coverage. NASCAR knew the rain was coming all day long. God forbid they actually move up the start time to accomodate incoming weather.
