Boston can have him, I don't even consider that schmuck a Chicagoan anymore.

Nothing would bring me more joy than watching the Bulls sack up, take games 6 and 7 and watch Derek Rose walk over to Garnett and snarl that "I'm a badass but I haven't scored a single point the entire series look" right in his face.

Who would have thought Ronnie Fields would be the one that turns out with the most class???????????

I grew up playing very competitive baseball and there's a great saying that applies to literally every sport possible.

"Act like you've been there before"

I don't think they taught that at Farragut.

maybe next year Chicago. We have been thru this already you have not. Your team will choke at home like Game 3.

You can suck on that!

Somebody is a little bitter that their team can't beat a bunch of old men half of whom are injured and also who are without their star player. GO CELTICS!

LMAO...i beg to differ..

bostonians are very nervous that a 7 seed is making them fight for thier lives, Garnett or not....

everybody around the nation is suprised by the play of the Bulls...
No matter what , the Celtics have thier hands full...even if they advance, they don't have much of a chance against Cleveland..

and in case you didn't notice, they have been beaten, twice....and will be again thursday

I think you may have forgotten last year. A 8 seed took the c's to 7 games... in fact every team took the celtics to 7 games except the lakers who got their a$$es handed to them!
In the end the team with the experience and veteran leadership always wins. If the series doesnt end thursday Celtics take it at home in game 7. I am not nervous...
In fact i am more nervous for the Magic than the Cavs... Garnett is projected to come back for the Cavs series and if he does like last year C's take it...

Oh and i did notice they have been beating twice... But it is kind of ironic somebody whose team that has been beating three times and who is on the brink of elimination is talking trash!

I haven't really been paying any attention to this series, save the OT games, but why is Chicago on Garnett's case all of a sudden? He's been on the bench. Did I miss something?

I believe it is "prophetic"
Here is my prophecy. People have heard of the curse of the bambino... i believe the cubs have the billy goat curse...
The Bulls welcome to the curse of Jordan, what is this Chicago's first time in the playoffs since he retired 10 years ago?
The C's take it game 6... Thats THE TRUTH... i believe you had a taste of him in OT last night.

LMAO..spelled it wrong on purpose and won a bet with a co-worker that you would point it out..LOL..thanks for the Diet Coke..

as for curses ? I don't believe in them....the team that plays better wins....curses are like excuses....you never hear winners talk about them..

the bulls have done a lot better than i thought they would, given the bizzare choice of DelNegro as a head coach...I like thier future..

Their team is very good and very young, you guys do have a lot to look forward to but it is not starting this year!
Unfortunately the whole NBA east has their clear cut champion for the next 10 season come 2010. Welcome the Lebron James/ Chris Bosh and god knows who else New York knicks... Trust me on that one. Not looking forward to it... maybe i'll check out a game when they play the c's when i am there for the 2010 beacon run!

thanks for posting this picture, it actually is what made me think that KG is a DB. i always liked him at the Timberwolves and was happy for him last year, but didnt care for his actions and boarderline taunting in that game (when he wasnt even playing)

This is actually the Bulls third playoff appearance since the Jordan era I believe and there were a lot of surprised Bulls fans when they came on strong the last 20 games or so to make the playoffs. With the exception of Rose most of the season they were going through the motions, directionless and sleep walking through games and playing a very selfish style of play. Their awakening in the last month of the season was quite surprising and improbable so most Bulls fans are really enjoying the surprise.

I do recall about a 15 year drought that the Celtics went through not making the playoffs and Danny Ainge had one foot out the door and the other one slipping on a banana peel before his old buddy Mchale bailed him out on that Garnett trade (despite there being better offers on the table for him namely from the Bulls).

Anyway i digress the Bulls have a ton of dough available for free agents in the summer of 2010 when they are available so i suspect they will look for the best available big man who can compliment Rose and sign him.

That is accurate if you don't include the celtics being in the playoffs every year from 2001-2005. The Pierce/Antwain Teams were decent...

And the bulls did not have a better offer than Big Al on the table for Garnett... Look at that guys stats since joining the twolves! Averages a double double every game! Garnett wanted a contender he wouldnt go to the bulls... in fact he wouldnt go to the c's until they got Allen and look at what he got not only a contender but a ring... That was not thanks to Mchale.
