I caught the alert at Facebook. God's n' Guns.
------------------------------------
from spinner dotCom:

When it came time to shoot a video for 'Still Unbroken,' the first single from Lynyrd Skynyrd's new album, 'God and Guns,' the southern rockers kept true to their live performance roots. "[It's] a very raw, rock 'n' roll, grainy video that we hope you all enjoy!" guitarist Rickey Medlocke tells Spinner.

Director P.R. Brown captured the performance shots of Skynyrd at the Verizon Amphitheater in Indianapolis, while the clips of the band on the bus were from the same night as they rode to the next gig in Chicago. Check out the exclusive premiere of the video, and look for 'God and Guns' Sept. 29.

Why so much hate? Ain't there enuff of that in the world today? Sure Skynyrd is in it to make money, but they have put some decent tunes out and great shows on since the reunion. I'm looking forward to hearing the John 5 (or christ whatever his name) co-written songs and hope the whole record is full of scorching geetars like the old days. And y'all haters have to apologize for being ... what's the right word here? ... I don't want to offend ... so I must choose carefully ... oh what is it? ... **** s ... Yes that's it! ... **** s!

Freebird for Duane wasn't it, not your a$$?

They played at Meadowbrook last eve and I decided not to attend after last years quick 1hr:15min show. I love the band but with only Gary left standing it was hard for me to go again.

I'd really kind of like to see them.
Its been decades since.
I say keep on playin.
I don't think you could have come up with a better singer than Ronnie's little brother.

Almost every band relases announcements through facebook these days, I don't see the big deal.

They put the press release on facebook and send it out to the media outlets as well.

If the ABB created their own facebook site, they would do the same thing. Mule does it, Derek does it. Apparently Skynyrd does too.

I kinda wish the ABB would move to a more modern fan friendly approach like that as well.

I hear ya WarEagle. Wouldn't it be nice if the ABB had a facebook announcement of a new CD coming out. Maybe they should take the lead from Skynyrd who took the lead from them so many years ago.

Just got off Skynyrd's Myspace page. They have one of
the New Songs up. Rocked pretty damn good!
I like it! I haven't bought any new stuff from them since
"Endangered Species", but I have a feeling this one is
going to be Real Good.
