Great song, listening to the Sundown album on the ipod this morning and it came on. Not sure who the singer was for this band but I know Chuck, Jimmy Nails and Paul Hornsby played on it, and Paul produced it. Anyway, really good album but Rosalyn Was Saved is a great song. Give it a listen if you get the chance.

No, the band Sundown from Alabama/Macon that came out in the early 70s. This album was Chuck's intro to the Macon crowd from what I understand. The album is called Sundown, by Sundown. I believe it was on Ampex Records.

I saw Sundown play back in the day at the Grand Opera House in
Macon ... musta been fall/winter of '71/'72. And I do remember that
song as being their best one too. Saw a lot of bands there such as
EQT ... they were using that venue as an audition for Capricorn.

Chuck, Jimmy and Randall B (I think) - a bunch of those guys started out as part of Livingstone Taylor's band.
